Oh, my. The obvious inference is he repeated what his carers said to him as he went on.Trump to Dr Phil as he walks off the stage: "Please be careful, Phil. We don't want you falling."
Wave that constitution bye bye.They say 'separation between church and state.' I said, alright, let's forget about that for one time."
Can CBS be trusted for accuracy any longer?Looks like Mike Waltz and his deputy are the first casualties of Signalgate. Both reported by CBS to be leaving their White House posts today.
...in himself.Not a cult
Dr. Phil: I have sat with President Trump with no cameras around, nobody watching, and I'm telling you: This is a man of deep faith, deep conviction..
Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump.
I am pleased to announce that I will be nominating Mike Waltz to be the next United States Ambassador to the United Nations. From his time in uniform on the battlefield, in Congress and, as my National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz has worked hard to put our Nation's Interests first. I know he will do the same in his new role. In the interim, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as National Security Advisor, while continuing his strong leadership at the State Department. Together, we will continue to fight tirelessly to Make America, and the World, SAFE AGAIN. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
That one right there, under the guise of "freedom of religion." Actual freedom of religion would require the government to treat all approaches to the subject as inherent equals, where what the Chrisitan fundies want is to have theirs, because it's a majority, recognized and treated as the default with all others' rights only tolerated at their pleasure. Trump himself is only nominally a Christian, but, as always with him, it's more a question of zero-sum political dominance than faith.How will the government 'bring back' religion (to one of few western countries where it shows little sign of going away)?
Mandatory government religiosity? Special rights for particular religions to get all in everyone's face about their version of reality?
In other words, he's only an ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ when people are watching. That's comforting!Not a cult

Now they're pushing it through in OK:Nothing new here. I'm old enough to remember the degree to which we were supposedly taught to love America with a diet of religion, selective facts and downright lies. It didn't ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ work, folks! Part of the whole problem here is that people with short memories and bad education are being bamboozled by idiots, and they forget, if they were ever made aware in the first place, that some things occurred, and others stopped occurring, for real reasons. It wasn't some kind of communist woke plot to institute food and drug laws or worker safety or child labor laws. It was dirty hot dogs and dead miners and maimed orphans. We didn't stop praying in schools because of communists, we stopped because it was stupid and wrong. We didn't stop telling lies to children about slavery and the slaughter of native Americans and such because of communists, we stopped because once upon a time it was considered contrary to the American character to fill our children with egregiously idiotic falsehoods.
Our leaders want to take us back to some halcyon time that never existed except in the minds of yesterday's failed fools.
