Hell, I am expacting a ghue uptick in domestic terrorism with groups like the Weathermen and the SLA emergins.
Sad think innocent people will get killed, terrorist of any stripe seldeom seem to get to the people who are really guilty.

I understand the GOP Is recommending against any future town meetings.,,which is an admission of defeat, frankly.

but he’s also a crypto guy so sound economic theory isn’t something he concerns himself with

I doubt there is anyone who hates the US more than the ones currently in it's White House.

Just saw a couple of GOP House members say the American people will support Trump ;s tariffs to "make America Great Again"
History indicates Americn tolerance for economic pain is very low. I give you last year's election as an example.
Don't kid yourself: A lot GOP cogress critters are scared of what inflations will do to their relection chances.

They needn't worry. We've already seen our last free election.
 
The speech to Congress is on tonight but I won't be watching it live. I think this is the one where whatever party is in charge stands up and applauds at every comment, dragging the thing out to four times the length it should be. I might record to see the context if any really interesting bits are reported.
 
The United Auto Workers (UAW) union have put out a statement praising Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China.

"We are glad to see an American president take aggressive action on ending the free trade disaster that has dropped like a bomb on the working class," it says.
