Trump's Second Term

The Governor is attacking the United States Air Force, and our Military, not a smart thing to do.

Why should Wounded Warriors Generals be forced to travel long distances to play Golf?

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
The Governor of the Great State of Maryland, Wes Moore, has put a halt to all work being done at Joint Base Andrews Air Force Base, concerning the renovation and restoration of their two old and dilapidated Golf Courses, into two, World Class, Jack Nicklaus Designed Courses, plus nine additional holes, also designed by Jack, specially adapted for our Wounded Warriors. By doing this, the Governor is attacking the United States Air Force, and our Military, not a smart thing to do. These Courses exist, they are terrible, Jack Nicklaus will make them GREAT. Why should the Air Force and other Military personnel be forced to wait through a long Legal Review process and, perhaps, even more so, why should Wounded Warriors be forced to travel long distances to play Golf somewhere else or, worse yet, not play Golf at all. Our Soldiers and Veterans deserve THE BEST - NO WAITING, NO GAMES! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

So much winning.

Canada's food inspection agency has announced a temporary ban on livestock from the US state of Texas after flesh-eating screwworms were discovered in calves this week.

Cows and horses that were in Texas anytime within 21 days before crossing the border into Canada would not be accepted into the country, an agency news release said...

The announcement comes after the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) said the parasite had been found in a second calf in Texas - the leading US beef and cattle producer. Texas Gov Greg Abbott declared a state of disaster on Friday over the "imminent threat" the outbreak posed...

The irony of course is that if he'd deigned to play at Andrews like other presidents it would have saved taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars and been more secure. No opportunity for grift though.

MAGA is the biggest piles of snowflakes:

That's in the category of things that I would hesitate to attribute to them being snowflakes. Rather, this is in the category of things that are better understood as attempts to control information and control the narrative. The victors write history, in short, and they've long since made it obvious that they are dominated by those who lost the previous conflicts on slavery and suffrage, but never stopped fighting.

The silver lining there is that we don't have to stop fighting either.

I have to agree. "Snowflakes" suggests passivity and hurt feelings. That's likely to accompany the effort, but it's far more sinister at base. It's unfortunate that many of our founders compromised their principles, but abandoning the principle and enshrining the compromise is a disservice to both past and future.

Notice how Democrats describe foreign citizens from failed states as their “constituents” rather than American citizens
