Mamdani just made an actually amusing executive order.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Monday signed a very special executive order: He officially repealed children’s bedtime so they can watch the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.

“Okay, my friends,” Mamdani said, surrounded by children. “Executive order is signed. Bedtime is repealed. All of you can watch the finals.”

The Knicks are making their first appearance in the NBA finals in 27 years.

“Who here was alive in 1999?” Mamdani asked, prompting one child to raise their hand.

“No, you were not.” Mamdani replied, with a smile. “We will talk about that later.”

Rescheduled Correspondents dinner.

In a sign of Strength and Fortitude, it was just announced that The White House Correspondents' Dinner, which violently ended rather abruptly on April 25th, will be rescheduled to July 24th. This announcement is a very good thing in that we cannot allow Lunatics to change our way of life, or even its scheduling. I was asked to be there, and speak, by Weijia Jiang, President of The White House Correspondents' Association, and have accepted. I don't know whether or not I will give the same rather nasty statements, at least as it concerns certain people, but we will soon find out.

In any event, it will be a "HOT" ticket! Interestingly, the location will be The Waldorf Astoria, on Pennsylvania Avenue, a Building and Ballroom that I built. President DONALD J. TRUMP

They're giving the tests all the time for a reason, though I like to imagine his excitment after identifying a horse, and shows the results to his cabinet who clap enthusiastically. Then he is given a IHOP kids placemat, a crayon and a juicebox.

Seriously, if he gets this excited at "acing" that test, his cognition is headed in the wrong direction.

The part about lack of pedestrian access is disturbingly common in the US, if you didn't know. That they do it this way for a world cup final is particularly egregious, but it's also par for the course. Walking? Why would you want to walk a short distance when you can call an Uber?
