Trump's Second Term

How can he get away with making such outrageous claims ?

Why are no senior Republicans suggesting that he may have gone just a wee bit too far ?

Why aren't the Democrats calling him out on this and demanding that he produces his "irrefutable proof" ?
I suppose the question is how long can he get away with making such outrageous claims.

No Republicans criticise the monster in case it turns its attention to them.

Obama's office has called the nonsense "a distraction". (From Epstein as I'm sure we all recognize.) Since that's exactly what it is, it's probably best to engage with it as little as possible.

I thought the USA supreme court had already decided that the president can do no criming? Or did that not apply to any President not called Trump?
Only for official acts
I suppose planning insurrection and committing treason aren't covered.

Trump says US has struck trade deal with Japan

President Donald Trump says the US has agreed to a "massive" trade deal with Japan, one of the country's largest trading partners.

Japan has agreed to invest $550bn (£407bn) in the US while its goods sold to America would be taxed at 15% when they reach the country - below the 25% tariff Trump had threatened.

Trump said on social media that Japan would open its economy to US goods, including cars, trucks, rice and certain agricultural products.

Donald says
"I just signed the largest trade deal in history, I think maybe the largest deal in history with Japan,"

The agreement does not include any reduction of tariffs on the Japanese side

I suppose this means Japan has to pass a law forcing people to buy American cars.

I thought the President generally didn't comment on the potential guilt/innocence of people becaue it could be seen as prejudicial? I know, that's hopelessly idealistic in the current climate, but it still feels a bit weird having the President outright just saying 'X is definitely guilty'.

That's the weird part about Trump?

Oh, please, please arrest Obama you ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ coward Trump. Nobody seriously thinks you will.

Yeahbut, if Obama isn't arrested it'll be because The Donald's Totally True Utterly Convincing Evidence was thwarted and hidden by Deep State Secret Squirrel Operatives loyal only to The Holy Acorn or something even less credible.

Needs more capital letters and exclamation marks, and it could be a Drumpf tweet.

@RealDonolDump

Using the words Squirrel and Acorn shows clearly that you are an agent of the Deep State. Please take care with this blatant use of such code words…….

Yes, but this is a huge and public widening of the crevasse separating him from reality. And spewing lies about, say, a wrongly deported migrant is easily ignored, cuckoo for Coco pops accusations of treason thrown semi intelligibly at former Presidents and a First Lady is a magnitude or three higher.
