With or without the flagpole? These entitled ***** can shove that flag on the We Love You Bruno sign right up their asses; they've already demonstrated how much they value it.

This story raised a question for me:
My question, is Bruno being treated differently from other rioters because his parents believe(d) in nutty conspiracy theories? The implication being that his family would keep feeding him toxic ****. But anyone who is released probably goes right on hanging out with kooks. I can't tell from HuffPo whether he is being denied bail. It sounds like he is. Maybe other rioters are being denied bail too; I haven't kept up with the individual cases.
My question, when bail is set, do authorities routinely check out the living situation of every released detainee?
Dad says he now believes Biden won. I can't tell if he's sincere. No word from Mom.

They are/were QAnon devotees. I suppose believing that whole mess may automatically make you an extremist. Any family that decided to pile in the car and drive from Georgia to DC to join a "stop the steal" BS rally is definitely suspectSome of the conditions judges have demanded for defendants seeking release while awaiting trial is that they don't associate with extremist groups and they stay off the internet as that too is a breeding ground. The problem with this specific defendant is that the custodians are themselves extremists.
“I’ve rejected custodians far less involved in the criminal conduct of the defendant,” [Judge] Baverman said. “Mr. Cua said they were misled by leaders. Well, Mr. Cua is supposed to be a leader, as a parent.”
At the very least, sue the Trump Organisation for billions for the repairs and cost of extra security of the Capitol building. Yeah, yeah, we know he never pays. But it will be yet another billion-dollar debt on his card to sue him with later. The Washington DC AG is looking into charges against Trump for January 6th as well.
RThe Party of Law and Order if you are Black.....
Yet again...
People that seriously want justice to apply equally mostly discuss the "rule of law". The "Order" part of "Law and Order" has, for decades, been a thinly veiled reference that straight white Christian men are first in order, then appropriate white women, then possibly white Latinos and light-skinned Asians, then the "others" who should be killed if they get out of line, or sometimes just to terrorize them.
(Jews kinda count as "white" for the moment, but they should really go back to Israel so Jesus can be summoned back to Earth, please ignore how incredibly blasphemous this is, they don't care about that much.)
Kinda like how "Blue Lives Matter" always meant "please kill black and Hispanic people at random and let us good white folks run wild". Once Capitol Police got in the way, well, time to beat them with sticks and fire extinguishers, bear spray them, gouge their eyes out, and so on.
Yeah, it was rather amazing how little those Blue Lives Mattered when they stood between the rioters and getting into the Capitol, isn't it?

Attempted coup. Remember that Trumpists are incompetent failures, like their leader.I keep hearing this protest being described as a 'Coup' in elements of the US media.
The parents should be in jail also. Aiding and abetting a seditionist and rioter. Not in adjacent cells either. They can all of a sudden find sense all they like. Far too late this long after the fact. Here's a great family bonding story. Parents together take their 18 year old son from Georgia to DC. The son is in jail and the parents are begging for their son's release.

You're right they should be. The parents took their spawn to the Capitol with a weapon. They were essentially his getaway drivers. I am enjoying their pain and anguish though. It's just that they should suffer.

They were traitors obviously, there were serving police officers in the mob doing the beating.
Who did that?Presenting a thug who stormed the Capitol Hill as 'just a clean cut kid' is a joke.
It would depend on whether the parents broke any laws. The parents should be in jail also. Aiding and abetting a seditionist and rioter. Not in adjacent cells either. They can all of a sudden find sense all they like. Far too late this long after the fact.
