Since Comey knows jack nothing about how to label classified information, I though he was helping Trump by keeping another bs attack on Clinton going.

So he deserves some Patronage.

Are you suggesting that Trump might still appoint Ivanka to a cabinet position, claiming he doesn't know she's his daughter?

(I wouldn't even be surprised if he did, frankly).

No but sometimes people who were adopted trace down their parents later in life, and many people have first cousins they don't know and whose names and histories they wouldn't recognize. I just hate to see laws written without regard for such obvious problems.

Fair enough, but without going back to the law in question I take a guess that (a) the law is not "strict liability" and (b) the sanction is nothing more than that the cabinet member who is a family member has to resign.

She must've been impressed. She now seems to be running for the Dem nomination in 2020. She's been out protesting Trump-supported Dakota Pipeline. He probably thought, "Hmmm, hot chick. Opposed a couple of things Hillary was for. I'll offer her Postmaster General."
 
Rudy is so scary looking he should be rejected on that basis alone. He makes Dick Cheney look warm and fuzzy. His face is a thing of nightmares.
 
Can we have updates in this thread of who Trump has nominated or is considering for his cabinet? It'd be nice to have something about that.
 
If Trump wants a mostly Republican cabinet, Marco Rubio might be a decent choice for HUD. He has been outspoken about neglect in public housing projects in Florida.
 
I hear Goebbels is being considered as communications director and Mengele as Surgeon General.
