Trump sues airport.

Oh, are they still pretending to be a different country?

:boxedin: :D

Yes, and we won't stop until the US apologizes for a few things and adopts some sensible policies with respect to firearms, universal health care, the proper length of a football field (and the number of downs) and the superiority of hockey as a national sport.

Until then, the Americans can wallow in their own beer. :D

It's not a rodent. It's an Asp Caterpillar

From that link:

The ability of a dragonfly nymph to successfully snatch and grab food is directly related to its anus. The mouth-grabber (labium) is hydraulically activated. The dragonfly draws water in through the anus, clenches, then compresses its abdominal and thoracic muscles against the water-filled rectal chamber. This raises the internal body cavity pressure, and pushes the labium out –in a strike that takes 10 to 30 milliseconds.

Trump lives in New York City. He likely doesn't spend a lot of time in that mansion. I suspect the painting is intended for others.

Vinay Menon in Saturdays's Toronto Star takes on the trumpeting Trump:

I am, however, writing to offer my support with respect to the shocking $100-million lawsuit you just filed against Palm Beach County. You are accusing Palm Beach International Airport of deliberately flying airplanes over your Mar-a-Lago residence and private club as part of a conspiracy and vendetta.

It’s just like when ships roll into a harbour and blow their horns just to terrify small children. Or when trains rumble past and people living near the tracks spill hot coffee down the front of their shirts and watch helplessly as pictures crash from the walls. We all know those trains are wilfully screwing with those people.

his company is now developing a historic building here in DC, the old Post Office. I wonder if he'll ruin the building, or just permanently mar it.

Odds are Trump Inc. will do a nice job on the Old Post Office Pavilion since their two previous historic building projects, Grand Central Terminal NYC and Mar-A-Lago, have had excellent results. Additionally the building is only leased from the GSA and renovation is heavily regulated by various government agencies including the National Park Service which is keeping possession of the clock tower tourist site.

OK, thanks. that makes me feel better.

Trump did not renovate Grand Central Terminal. But he did renovate the Grand Hyatt Hotel, next to GCT on 42nd St, which I think was his first high profile project.

I was on an early flight today out of PBI, and we took off to the east. Nice view of Palm Beach. I can only hope that the noise over Mar el Lago was deafening.
