It gets reall frustarting in discussion of the Mideast. The threads at this site on the topic have become two bunches of idiots shouting at each other, as the saying goes.

I am not so sure about the Natural Goodness of Man bit. Other wise I guess I am a liberal. Also note that defintion dodges economic issues.

There is stupidity on the left. There are instances of violence from the left against political opponents. I don't think the dominant philosophies of the far left and the far right are comparable though. And I do not see nearly comparable incidence of left violence as the right violence we've seen in this country. Conveniently some people want to start keeping score since the Trump era when tensions are high all around.

Sure there is stupidity on the left. But this post is BS piled high.

I'm against violence. PERIOD FULL STOP. I don't give a damn who does it. I'll speak out against anyone who supports violence. Anyone. The fact is Trump not only supports violence, he encourages it. He called January 6th a day of love.

This is why if Trump wins I think I will make some significant changes to where my retirement investments are. The Harvard Business Review has an article about how populism is bad for the economy. They let you look at one free article/month I believe otherwise it is behind a paywall.
