.. and what the Republicans want to show us is what sort of fascists we can be.
I'm not even sure what that is...
...some sort of half-assed Godwin?

Welcome to the forum, Eddie.
The point is that if a conservative can call a liberal a "socialist" then a liberal can certainly call a conservative a "fascist." Here's the case for the latter position, and it's downright scary.
I'm not even sure what that is...Let's see..."National Socialist Party" ring any bells?
At what age? My children still believe in Santa Claus. You can argue evolution, clearly the more logical more proven argument, to you are blue in the face, and one charming young evangelical can win opinion in a 4th grade class simply by answering every question with "well god works in mysterious ways, and this is one of them."

What people DO care about in this election cycle is the economy and the disastrous handling of it by CruzeShipObama.
Let's see..."National Socialist Party" ring any bells?
Yep, that's the one.Never heard of it. Have heard of the National German Socialist Workers Party though.
It's just so Glenn Beckish to claim that Hitler's ideology actually had anything to do with socialism. It's nothing more than a deliberately deceptive and oxymoronic misnomer, along the same lines as Bush's "compassionate conservatism."

We think she's doing a great job!
Uh, in a decent school kids are told about all those things - as part of explaining that science - to be functional - must change as new information challenges or disproves things earlier thought true. As an example, in Chemistry we teach kids about the versions of the atom for Democritus, Dalton, cathode ray (electron) guy, Rutherford, Bohr, Quantum and some oddities in between to point out that knowledge changes so science changes. We also teach them about the reality of global warming. And, as much as we can manage Evolution. Way too many idiots out there though.Oh, it certainly has a place, where ever Piltdown man is (was)taught, and where ever kids are taught about the nine planets in our solar system, the Bohr atom, and other rich lore. And where the religion of global warming is taught, with it's chief profit, Al Gore.
.

Now that's dumber than snot.

Good point. How 'bout the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It's nice to know those North Koreans are living in a democracy.
