Really, because Fox news and right wing radio is spending a lot of time focusing on our War against Muslims and Christian media finds plenty of time to talk about gays and abortion.
 
It's just so Glenn Beckish to claim that Hitler's ideology actually had anything to do with socialism. It's nothing more than a deliberately deceptive and oxymoronic misnomer, along the same lines as Bush's "compassionate conservatism."

Uh, in a decent school kids are told about all those things - as part of explaining that science - to be functional - must change as new information challenges or disproves things earlier thought true. As an example, in Chemistry we teach kids about the versions of the atom for Democritus, Dalton, cathode ray (electron) guy, Rutherford, Bohr, Quantum and some oddities in between to point out that knowledge changes so science changes. We also teach them about the reality of global warming. And, as much as we can manage Evolution. Way too many idiots out there though.:):):(:jaw-dropp
 
I missed that one before. It's hilarious how mhaze ridicules the idea of nine planets, as if it was a big error that scientists made and they were embarrassed to discover that they was wrong.

Of course, the demotion of Pluto was simply a decision based on a desire to improve the system of classification. It's like saying that mapmakers should be embarrassed that they were calling a city in China "Peking", when it's actually Beijing.
