Trouble Ahead on the High Seas (ISM)

This is a great day for the whole region. It is Peacefull resistance to a blockade. Would the people who think its a bad thing rather see violent resistance.....or.....no resistance? When the british were attempting a blockade to keep Jews out of this region prior to the founding of Israel would Those that critisize this action and urge compliance with a blockade have applied the same standards to that? It is easy to describe this as a sneaky tactic by a violent group, how about describing it as simply a demonstration that military power cannot, in the end, control millions of people if those people simply choose to ignore the IDF and its blockade and simply go about thier business in a peaceful manner?

The Israelis simply have not got the capacity to stop large numbers of small ships plying trade unlewss they start sinking ot arresting them. I don't think Israel wants to do that because it looks bad....know why it looks bad?

A great day for the region is when boats set out to criticise Hamas and Fatah for being ******** responsible for the misery their people are in.

Thats right son...keep it simple. Makes it easier.

If each boat stood someone at the bow screaming out obscenities about Hamas and Fatah in what way would it change the situation? Do you have an opinion or are we going to just get mode giggling?

What a great guy they got among them! I mean, look at his masterpiece that came 2nd place in the Iranian Holocaust Cartoon Contest! Not only that, he's also revered by the Islamic Front for the Iraqi Resistance who honoured him in their PDF magazine!

Great people that want to free Gaza!

Celebrate yourself, prick (not Latuff)!

Any bets on how long before one of these "activists" gets kidnapped?
Useful idiots are even more useful when used in exchange for prisoners.

I think that's pretty far fetched, since the propaganda war has gained yet another piece and a kidnapping would diminish that. ;)

Sorry, I was asking if that Latuff in the cartoon prize, is the same Latuff in Gaza.
Its slowly sinking in that it indeed is.
Oh dear.

Not bad for a roach though. :D
By the way, if someone was captured and Hamas would get them back, double propaganda bonus!
Maybe they should go for it. Any sucker for Allah reading this? Anyone? :p

TF,

How is it a good day to have Latuff show up on a boat in Gaza? Honestly? Isn't that just increasing the hate?

T-F thinks this is, as Haniyyeh says, the end to the blockade (T-F mentions "It is Peaceful resistance to a blockade.")

No. The blockade will continue to be enforced.

The biggest frustration I have with these two small boats is their mis-guided mission. Their protest is directed at Israel -- when it should have been directed at HAMAS and the rest of those entire islamic-terror thugs.

That's because they're not peace activists. They're partisans who have chosen to side with Hamas.

well web....you can chant slogans and post pictures of ships but unless the blockade intercepts ships it is not a blockade. Are you saying that all future boats will be intercepted?

who is on the boat doesn't really matter. Israel has no right to cut people off from the outside world by imposing naval power outside its territorial waters. Some members here seem to have gone into a terrible flap when these palestinians have refused to match thier prejudices and simply ,peacefully ignored the blockade. I'm not sure if they can handle any more erosion of thier prejudices without medical problems. If these were not palestinians peacefully defying a blockade they would be applauded.....serves them right for being palestinian I suppose.
