Cont: Today's Mass Shooting (2)

How dare you point out that the overwhelming majority of mass shootings are committed by men? What are you, some kind of bigoted misandrist?

(That's how it's supposed to be done here at ISF, right?)

The point for many of us is that nobody should be able to commit mass shootings because firearms should be much harder to buy and possess, as they are almost everywhere else in the world except delightful places like Yemen and Afghanistan. You wouldn't need to single out your disfavored groups if nobody was shooting anybody.

Shooter now described as a 28 year old woman! If only the children had been armed!

Interesting. School was a private, religious school for young children. Given her age, I wonder if she just might have had a child that went there. Something blew up and ignited irrational, deadly results. Perhaps she was a teacher there. Highly speculative but there's almost certainly some connection.

Maybe it's time to start broadcasting crimes scene videos of the results of these shootings, preferably on a Jumbotron on the steps of the United States Capitol Building. Show people what sort of injuries a high power rifle does to a child's body. Let people like Boebert and Greene offer their thoughts and ******* prayers in front of that.

police just said that shooter had been a student at the school.

I read that the school only goes up to 6th grade. If she was 28, that means she hadn't been there for 16 or so years. She had, reportedly, "at least two assault style rifles and a handgun". It's sounding like she was another mentally unstable gun-nut who decided to shoot up a school, and went somewhere she knew. Any grievance she might have had with the school had to be a decade and a half old, unless, as someone else speculated, she might have had a child attending the school. But it seems like anyone uncovering that she'd been a student there would also easily find out she had a child there, too.

Clearly we just haven't reached the minimum number of guns to make us all safer.

We have to protect the helpless innocent children from the trans and the drags! At all costs!

Dead children from guns is still a-ok though.

Reports say that the shooter entered through an unlocked side door. I guess we know what the deflection from the real issue will be..

I'm surprise a bereaved parent hasn't done that already (as far as I know). It would certainly get a lot more coverage than say, Emmett Till did back in the day. The news will show dead kids in incidents in foreign countries, but never anything in the U.S.

Not to get very dark here, but I'm surprised the parents of children killed in school shootings don't shoot the children of the politicians who oppose gun control. I guess the fact that it hasn't happened proves that people are basically good? Or at least better than the worst they could be.

Well, it shows that people aren't generally cold blooded murderers, anyway. That could be due to goodness or fear of consequences or a simple cost/benefit analysis.

People used to think public hangings would dissuade people, and instead it became entertainment.

Broadcasting the graphic reality of gunshot wounds would just harden the resolve of the gun lobby to push for teachers to be armed.

Apparently the shooter is transgender.

Police also identified the shooter as Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a Nashville resident. The police chief said Hale identifies as transgender.

This kids killed were all 9 y/o.

The latest Tweet by BNO News Live states, 'Nashville shooter was a transgender woman who had drawn detailed maps of the school and left a manifesto. Police chief says they're investigating the possibility that her identity is linked to the motive'
