Wow. You honestly just can't force yourself to say it, can you? Ignore any moderated content. Address this single issue. Talk about, in your own words, the level of outrage you feel about conflating being gay with being a pedophile, and about the insinuation that President Obama is a pedophile.

Hypothetically, if someone had said to another poster "I believe that the banks are correct in this instance and... etc etc etc and you are a jerkface!" and it was moderated that reposting without the personal attack would be counted as reposting moderated content?

It's an excuse, though. It's not a good excuse, but an excuse all the same.

It's just sad (well, pathetic really) that the poster in question feels the need to make such excuses in order to avoid condemning any part of the party he holds so dear, even when such condemnation is utterly justified to any rational person.

It's an excuse, but probably not one primarily meant to avoid restating his opinion. His refusal is meant to simply keep this diversionary conflict going. He's trolling you folks and enjoying the power you're giving him to control the direction of this thread.

The level of outrage I feel is right around the zero mark. Seriously, who cares about this crap? It's stupid and juvenile, but it's not like I used to surf over to Barbwire for substantive criticism of Obama or homosexuals. I never even heard of this site.

To a certain extent this is the same problem I see with a lot of the right-wing talk show hosts. They're all about getting people outraged at some issue or another. Mark Levin is like that goofy guy from Network, screaming, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

If people around here want to get their outrage on by reading Right Wing Watch or Addicting Info, fine. Just don't expect the few remaining conservatives on this forum to pat them on the head and tell them that they're right to be angry.

Why not? Do you not think that conflating being gay with other disgusting acts is a problem for the right? If not, how do you explain why Rick Santorum, who came dangerously close to getting the nomination in 2012, said that gay people were like "man on dog"?

And P.S., there are lots of conservatives on the forum. The problem is that when the subject turns to things like this, they go mute.

What else? The first Tuesday following the first Monday in November is election day. That's November 6th this year and hopefully a not so fond bye bye to lots of Dems and Harry, like his pal Nancy, will be losing his gravel in January, 2015. :D

The "you haven't publically denounced X, therefore you must be an apologist for X" tactic is a slimy one. It's also fallacious. I don't know who is or is not a conservative, but I'll note that you haven't denounced Barbwire's actions in this thread either, as far as I can tell.
