I didn't introduce the topic; I was correcting the record.

Yup, me too.

I'm voting* for whoever has the best chance of winning the general. As of now, I assume that's Clinton. But that said, I can't dismiss this as irrelevant**. It most certainly re-enforced my decision to vote for Obama in '08.

* If I vote. WA is a caucus state, and I'm unlikely going to invest the time if things are already decided by then.

** I agree that it's irrelevant to this thread, if that's what you mean.

I meant the latter **. (although I don't agree with you that statement you qouted was a tacit admission, but rather simply was just used as another opportunity to try toattack the Obama campaign.)

Well, that may be a little bit baby-and-bathwater. So far this result should be seen as an outlier because of how extreme the variation in forecast and result was, but it doesn't mean that the polls are worthless as predictors.

THing is the same techniques used in the Michegan polls were pretty accurate in predicting other states outcome.

Never forget that it the moderates, those on the fence who decide the general election.

Why do you hate Hilary Clinton so much?

I don't hate her. She is smart, knows the system fairly well, knows how to compromise, and would not be the sort of disaster as President that any of the GOP would be.

I simply think she is in this to win whatever it takes, and has no strong moral compass to reign that it. Winning has become her everything. She knows this is her last chance at it. If she fails, she is out of the spotlight and a footnote in history.

And I believe that her political instincts are actually pretty bad.

Bad enough to smear Sanders with his ethnicity (via a third party of course) and bad enough to lose to an actual fascist, Trump.

"Look at that suit and tell me he ain't the son of a rag-picker!"

I don't get the reference?

I'm thinking of what anti-semitic tropes Hillary could throw at Bernie. Hoarding the wealth he claims he wants to spread, poisoning the water in Flint, and coming from a family of rag-pickers (historically one of the few jobs Jews were allowed to have).

First the Clinton camp denied. Then they cynically pushed back with this repulsive tacit admission

Yet you seem to have missed this part....

"I just want to make it very clear that we were not aware of it, the campaign didn't sanction it and don't know anything about it," Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson told reporters. "None of us have seen the email in question."

Yet you seem to have missed this part....
No, that's the initial denial I referred to.

You don't get it. Tacit means they didn't do, but I just want to blame them anyway :D
Knee jerk BS.

I followed this in 2008, and my cite (above) is far from being the only tacit admission issued by Clinton's campaign. And even if I'm wrong, it was still a cynical, repulsive thing to say.
