This of course forgives the Church for their child abuse cover ups.
Look! My church is cool! Isn't my church cool? They even like the Simpsons! And the Beatles!
Old news, but the child abuse problem by some teachers in public schools is still present day news. This of course forgives the Church for their child abuse cover ups.
If the church said it, what does it mean that god knows a fictional character quite well?

ETA: Maybe if the media spent as much time on the problem as they did with the priests the problem of child abuse in public schools would also be old news.
Any fallacy experts on here? Is this a tu quoque fallacy or something else?

So is the Simpsons and the Beatles. But that doesn't seem to stop you commenting on it.Old news, but the child abuse problem by some teachers in public schools is still present day news.
Bottom line is the problem of sexual abuse in the public schools is worse than it ever was in the Church.
I think they also gave some praise to the beatles last year.
It's his standard MO when anyone brings up any criticism of priest child abuse. He makes this grand claim that schools are apparently systematically covering child abuse by teachers. He then follows up by trying his best at never providing any evidence.Any fallacy experts on here? Is this a tu quoque fallacy or something else?
Or will it somehow make us forget that they actively encourage policies and promote lies that increase the spread of AIDS in Africa?Who cares what the hell some monolithic backwards thinking organization thinks about pop-culture? Is this suppose to make them relevant again?
lets be honest here, the Vatican only likes the Simpsons because Flanders is in it
Okely-dokely-doo!
What is the point of this thread?
You claim school abuse is more prevalent {than past priest abuse} got any proof?
And, as it was said before, it is really sad when the best you can do to defend your church is by saying, "Other people molest too!!!"
