I'm still watching the popular vote itself, because I am always happy for a chance to debate the electoral college. Voting systems in and of themselves are my favourite things to study. The gap has halved so far to under 500k.

I woke up to an utter nightmare this morning.

Welcome to the Fascist States of America, I guess. I am going to be seriously considering attempting to get a job in my field in another country for the next four years just so I don't have to be subjected to the train wreck that we are currently subjecting ourselves to. I actually feel really sorry for you guys.

This entire experience is just FUN. He's a completely amusing guy who says outrageous stuff and to see him overturn the apple cart is a delight.

I wish you could experience it in this way, rather than with horror. I really do.

These elections make me seriously wonder whether Democracy -at least as we know it- is really the best form of government.
