The Underground Secrets of Stonehenge

Actualy I take back the 'All' Looking at their North Yorkshire Moors map there are a lot of things missing. Lets say it is a 'work in progress' that includes the 'major' sites.

I used to drive through Avebury occasionally for work. As someone who grew up with "Children of the Stones" it always raised the hairs on the back of my neck.

Yes, several missing from the Peak District.

The megalithic portal is pretty good for listing sites, and I seem to recall seeing something that Julian Cope is involved with.

For an offical list Pastscape http://www.pastscape.org.uk/ (somehow affiliated to English Heritage) is comprehensive (not just ancient monuments)
and the MAGIC database ( http://www.magic.gov.uk/) has this and SSSI information etc as well

Wow someone else who remembers 'Children of the Stones'

I know friends I was at school with who watched it but I seem to be the only one that remembers it.!

Was it any good? I downloaded it the other day but then spilled beer onto my laptop and cooked my HDD, lol

I haven't seen it since the 70s but I remember it being quite dark and creepy.

Bearing in mind it's kids TV really it was certainly a bit spooky, Iain Cuthbertson does good sinister. The ending was a bit daft (of course) . The theme music is properly chilling.
