The Truth about RFK Jr

Incompetent, stupid mother ◊◊◊◊◊◊ says an imcompetently stupid mother ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ thing.
The health secretary, Robert F Kennedy Jr, said on a press tour that his response to a large measles outbreak in west Texas should be a “model for the world”. The statement came after Kennedy attended the funeral of a third measles victim over the weekend.

Kennedy’s response to the outbreak has been widely criticized by epidemiologists and public health experts, who argue he failed to give a full-throated endorsement of an extremely effective vaccine, that cases appear to be severely undercounted and that officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have been deployed late.

He's got to go.
It is a model for the world. We are all saying, "Well, we're not ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ doing that!"

This sounds like a soft version of terrain theory, which I brought up near the beginning of the thread. I would respectfully point out that microorganisms evolve, making them moving targets, and that there are no non-vaccine medicines against some diseases such as measles, and there are some diseases that have so far eluded our ability to find vaccines.
"If you are healthy, it's almost impossible for you to be killed by an infectious disease, in modern times — because we have nutrition … and access to medicines. What we need is good science on all of these things so that people can make rational choices." link. This was part of an interview with Dr. Marc Siegel.

My comment above left out at least one other factor. Many people are immunocompromised; HIV(+) people and people with leukemia or lymphoma come to mind. BTW there is a separate thread on Terrain Theory in the Conspiracies and Conspiracy Theories sub-forum.

Fox News quoted Dr. Jacob Glanville, CEO of Centivax, a San Francisco biotechnology company: "While better nutrition is important for American children, it’s unlikely to make a difference when it comes to measles infection or severity — 90% of well-fed but unvaccinated American children exposed to measles will become infected, around 20% of those children will be hospitalized, and 0.1-1% of those children will die."

And there'a diseases too that affect the more healthy in society more, a classic example being the 1918-1919 'flu pandemic.

ProPublica reported, "National rates for four major vaccines, which had held relatively steady in the years before the COVID-19 pandemic, have fallen significantly since, according to a ProPublica analysis of the most recent federal kindergarten vaccination data. Not only have vaccination rates for measles, mumps and rubella fallen, but federal data shows that so have those for pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B and polio."

And about a million Americans died from a single infectious disease in 2020-21.
Yea but none of them were healthy because how could they have been if such a nothing disease killed them, no they were all unhealthy and therefor ignorable and that is proven because they died.

Cool we can bring back American manufacturing starting with iron lungs.

NBC reported, "Kennedy claimed that the FDA’s proximity to the food industry has resulted in its failure to address food contamination. “Like every agency,” he said, the FDA “at one point really became a sock puppet for the industry it was supposed to regulate.” Kennedy has long alleged that the federal health agencies are too close with the industries they regulate. It’s not an uncommon critique of the FDA — in 2021, for example, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., denounced President Joe Biden’s FDA pick, citing close ties to the pharmaceutical industry. Some have also taken issue with the fact that the FDA’s review of products, like drugs, is funded by user fees from industry."

Regulatory capture is real thing, but the problem has been recognized for a long time. One might ask "What solution to regulatory capture does he propose, and how general is it?"

If you are healthy...

And if you aren't, rfk? Good riddance, eh? You only have yourself to blame? If you realise once you catch a potentially damaging/lethal disease that you actually have some kind of weaknes you weren't aware of? Or if you are born with a less than stellar immune system? Stupid question, I know; if you aren't healthy we're better off without you, obviously.

I do wonder if that applies to people with brain worms?

Or they didn't use ivermectin and/or vitamin D and trusted Fauci who made the deadly Chinese bioweapon...
