Yeah great idea, Sammy. Scrap democracy and run the USA the way crime gangs are run. What an ingrate. The government he sneers at is the same government that has kept him alive. Otherwise he'd have been fish food a long, long time ago.

A more jolting scenario is to imagine what the GOP would be doing if Obama was rumored to have a pee tape in his background and admitted to bopping Playmates while married to his third wife. The fit would never stop hitting the shan. Hannity would be apoplectic. The two dudes and the obligatory blond would never talk about anything else, even if the bottom half of the Earth fell off.

Now I guess the issue for Trump is do any of the claims against him, or Cohen seized files, have a pee scent. It doesn't need a full on pee video just an "innocent" claim that some pee leaked out from somewhere at some time.

Trump does have a long history of being an expert in urine.

Also presidents don't generally go to the funerals of first ladies. Obama didn't go to Nancy Reagan's.
 
Indeed. Some quick searching suggests that in general, First Ladies - rather than Presidents, attend the funerals of First Ladies. When Betty Ford died, GW Bush went, but only because Laura Bush couldn't - Rosalynn Carter, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Reagan all attended.

It varies of course, but certainly in recent times it is not unusual for the sitting, and past, Presidents to not attend the funeral of a former First Lady.

I don't blame Trump for not showing up at the funeral. However I do think he made a mistake in tweeting about it being a "beautiful day".

It's a funeral. A somber occasion. Pay your respects to the family of the departed.

Look if he isn't talking about trying to have sex with her daughter that is a win for trump on decorum around funerals. Look at his public letter to John Travolta on the death of his son for a more typical example of Trump's tact.
