hmmm, that reminds me.

A response to this would really help me understand why Rush Limbaugh still has people listening to him about trump and/or the Democratic party.

<snip> Rush Limbaugh has stage 4 lung cancer. Of course, a few years ago, he denied that smokers died at a rate any higher than non-smokers and that secondhand smoke "never killed or hurt anybody".

What's that they say about Karma?

You know, right? I was thinking ADHD.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. There have been allegations by at least one person working on The Apprentice who said Trump popped Adderall all the time. It would certainly explain his inability to focus on reports past a page or two (if that) and his requests to have someone tell him what they say. It would also explain why he watches so much TV news and his wandering thoughts and inability to stay on subject when speaking. ADHD sufferers either can't focus for long or they go to the opposite extreme hyper-focus on something. Adults are rarely officially diagnosed with ADHD even though they have it. They have either learned coping mechanisms or have not succeeded very well in society.

Demanding attention through misbehavior is also common with young ADHD sufferers.

I have a now adult daughter and husband both with ADHD. My daughter was diagnosed just after turning 7 years old and my husband at age 45. I have to disagree with you...at least from my experience. Before her diagnosis and subsequent medication, my daughter never 'demanded attention' by deliberately misbehaving. On the contrary, the negative attention was the unwanted result of her misbehavior prompted by ADHD. Once the proper medication was found and her ADHD symptoms greatly alleviated, she was like a different child. She was never the type to 'demand attention' and especially not negative attention.

Donnie will award Limbaugh the Medal Of Freedom.
Well, Donnie has now made that award worthless.
As for Rush, I am not going to be a hypocrite: When he kicks the bucket, I will start singing Ding Dong, The Witch Is Dead.
And given the way he ridiculed the idea that smoking was bad for you on his show, this indeed is karma catching up with him.

One of his Cabinet members (don't recall which) said they were in the middle of a security briefing when Trump got up and wandered out. They found him watching TV in a room down the hall.
It's just as well. I don't trust him with state secrets.

Trump Tweets

The Democrat Caucus is an unmitigated disaster. Nothing works, just like they ran the Country. Remember the 5 Billion Dollar Obamacare Website, that should have cost 2% of that. The only person that can claim a very big victory in Iowa last night is “Trump”.

When will the Democrats start blaming RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, instead of their own incompetence for the voting disaster that just happened in the Great State of Iowa?

The Democrat Party in Iowa really messed up, but the Republican Party did not. I had the largest re-election vote in the history of that great state, by far, beating President Obama’s previous record by a lot. Also, 97% Plus of the vote! Thank you Iowa!

My Approval Rating in the Republican Party = 95%, a record! Big Iowa win. Approval Rating overall = 53%, a new high. With our great Economy and other major successes, would be 20 points higher without the phony Witch Hunts and Hoaxes???

I guess Trump's forgotten the 2012 Republican screw up in the Iowa caucus when they declared Romney the winner only to declare Santorum the winner 2 weeks later.

And this is what digusts me " The GOP congressmen KNOW this and they still will not move to stop him. Unfreaking believable.

He said he wanted a medal for smoking, and he's getting one.

Word is that The PDJT is going to award Limbaugh with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I hope he does. That will give the Dems all kinds of ammo showing the disgusting things Limbaugh has said and that's what Trump thinks deserves the M of F.

I keep thinking that maybe there's a lost tribe of Republicans who give a **** about national security.

I don't know how "borderline fascism" would be defined, other than "Tagging someone with fascism when it isn't actually fascism; blowing smoke". Nixon was actually charged with crimes, as was Bill Clinton. Trump wasn't, so the Democrats tried to use nebulous "abuse" charges that contained no crimes to throw him out of office. It didn't work. Sen. Ernst said if elected, Biden can be impeached on day one of his presidency because of the very obvious Ukraine/Hunter corruption Trump justifiably wanted investigated, while the Democrats and fake news quite simply close their eyes, put their fingers in their ears, and go "na na na na na" whenever it comes up. I've said from the beginning trying to impeach Trump with lies about what was in the transcript would take Biden down in the end, not Trump, because Biden's confession is on tape.

The argument Trump's defense made about a POTUS doing things for political purposes was not only for Trump, but for all presidents future and past. All politicians, really. There has to be a crime, a high crime, not a bunch of people lying about what was said on a phone call. It certainly appears this was the result of a conspiracy involving Schiff's staff and some Democrats on the NSC. We'll find out eventually. The Durham results will be coming before the election, and I predict the silly assertion of the ICIG that there was no political bias involved in the Russia Hoax will be nuked.

Oh, Trump's highest Gallup poll to date, 49% approval, is in.

https://news.gallup.com/poll/284156/trump-job-approval-personal-best.aspx

Because the Founding Fathers in 1787 did not have the imagination to say, “one day our little country will be powerful enough that Congress can send military aid to countries all across the globe. And if the president overtly or subtly holds up that allocated money in an effort to defeat a potential political rival, that would be bad. So we must pass a law preventing the president from using his power in that manner,” we now have to listen to Republicans say that such behavior is appropriate. Excuse me, such behavior is perfectly appropriate.

I keep thinking that maybe there's a lost tribe of Republicans who give a **** about national security.

Some wisened, long-forgotten establishment Republican appears in a backwater town to mentor a young man, training him up to fight an epic battle with Trump only to discover he is...

... his father - the result of an affair with a porn star who kept the abortion/hush to disappear and raise him in secret

From Trump tweet:

This slick trick is why I sometimes envy "conservatives": I bet many Trump supporters are going to completely forget this is hypothetical and will become convinced that Democrats are blaming Russia for the Iowa mess.

There's an art to this, and I hope someone on the left is going to use this type of framing to get in some subliminal messaging about Trump. It would drive him bonkers. Well, he already is bonkers, but still.

Is there a name for such subterfuge? Talking about what an opponent *might* say, and insinuating that they've actually said it? Actually that's kind of what Schiff did, but I don't know if he framed it as a hypothetical.

If everyone accepts the bar laying on the ground, in the mud and ****, you are ******.

Of course he is also getting a gravestone.....
And Trump wished him a "speedy recovery." Not sure that really works with stage IV lung cancer. Doctors never like to say there's no hope, but ...

... Well at least Rush will probably be able get really good drugs.

But seriously, I don't wish that on anyone. Recently I was surprised to feel mild pleasure at the prospect of Trump's demise, and realized I had NEVER felt that way about anyone else. But still, I didn't want him to suffer. Trying to survive this stage of cancer is probably pretty hellish.

The prognosis for stage IV lung cancer very poor. Like you, I'd never wish it on anyone...but some people I'd wish it on less than others.

I've also never wished for someone to die, but let's just say I'd shed no tears if Trump dropped dead.
