More assertions? If you had a habit of countering arguments against your stupid opinions your assertions might gain you some ground. Sadly it's just more hot air from a seemingly inexhaustible source.
Let's do some role playing, shall we?
Okay, I walk down the ten foot wide corridor, open the door, throw in a fireball and then close the door....oh, and I check for traps first. Which dice do I roll?
I am an Imam is in front of mosk telling me how evil Americans are and how they torture Muslims, blah blah blah...then you go out and get captured.
Uh huh, and wind up not getting my head cut off, not getting killed out of hand, eat three square meals a day, pray to the same god I did before I got captured, get free medical and dental attention....I should have signed up to be captured before.
The actions taken by those G.I.'s will either confirm or contradict what it was that I told you to begin with...
Well the actions contradict the drivel you spouted before, but it is seemingly in the interest of the enemy to make people believe otherwise. You're off on a bizarre tangent, why don't you stick to facts and forget the hypotheticals. You can't handle them.
What actions are most likely to have you form a 'good' opinion about American forces???
Let's see, what actions make me form a good opinion about the
enemy? The people I was trying to kill? You expect the treatment we give them when captured to make them change their minds? I see you not only have a low opinion of Americans, but you also have a low opinion of the quality of the enemy. Here's a clue: they're all better than you.
Regardless of what you think, we are in War of Ideology. If we are to win we have to demonstrate a superior set of rules. When you lower standards for the treatment of prisoners, you play into the hands of our enemies. However, when you treat even the worst among our enemies, like human beings, then you disarm those who would accuse us of injustice.
You don't know the first thing about war do you? Taking your same tack, since the enemy is demonstrating a set of rules so inferior to ours then by your reasoning they are losing badly. I've said before, your vague accusations are meaningless. Every time you've tried to accuse my side (I don't know what side you're on) of doing all this evil stuff, I've challenged you to present evidence and you haven't. You are a liar, nothing more to be said. Your accusations have no meaning.
The tail of this tale is how you treat those 'innocent' so-called combatants. Sooner or later, the innocent wil be set free (we hope), and when they return to their homes they will tell their tale. Your course of actions insures that this his tale will cause others for form a bad opinion of us and how we treat people.
Well you've gone from assuming that everyone will be held indefinitely to an assumption that those innocent of crimes will be set free at the end of hostilities. That's sort of progress I suppose, although you haven't yet given a single example of how we are systematically abusing detainees in any way whatsoever.
During WWII, we inturned or held captive Asian Americans, and the Courts at that time upheld the decision.
Well, we interned Americans of Japanese ancestry as well as some Germans and Italians. Yep, we interned people. Some of them lost everything they owned. Of course, some of the people we sent overseas lost their lives, so all in all I'd rather be interned. You just don't grasp the difference between war and peace do you?
THAT was F*CKED up! Regardless of the 'need', I find that same notion injust to say the least. Just because we have done it in the past, and had Courts holdup the decision, does NOT mean that I want it happening again!
Well we aren't rounding up muslims for shipment to the settlement camps yet. We're talking about something entirely different...well I'm talking about something different, you're spouting drivel like always.
I am going to address the rest of your retort later, for now I have to return to jury duty...
I sure hope the person on trial isn't an American, you've got them all convicted.
