Merged The solution for Israel, your thoughts?

I beg to differ. That was the highly flawed ruling (non-binding, by the way) issued by the ICJ whose president was from China and whose other justices were from Egypt and Jordan, not exactly great bastions of human rights and none in a strong moral position to judge Israel. In other words, YAAAWN.

First tactic of the desperate...at attack messenger when you dont like the message

I guess in your haste you missed Judge Thomas Buergenthal, a German Jew who when through the Nazi terror, and currently represents the United States on the Court

Or judge Ranjeva, who is a native of Madagasca

Judge Gilbert Guillaume who is French

Judge Vereshchetin who is Russian

Judge Higgin British

Judge Parra‑Aranguren Venezuela

Judge Kooijman - German

Judge Rezek - Brazil

It is obvious you are nowhere near as well researched as you think. Might be an idea to go brush up a bit and come back when your A game is in order. I really find little challenge in debating such topics with such clear cut rookies.

Were there any Israeli justices ruling on the Israeli fence, Mr. Well-Researched? Has there ever been an Israelli on the Court (Answer: No). Because, I hate to embarrass you, but, Justice Buergenthal represents the US, not Israel, despite being Jewish. There is a difference between being American and being Israeli.

Did you bother to read Buergenthal's dissenting comments on the ICJ's ruling? If not, you might wish to do so in order to gain perspective on why the ruling was so flawed. The Court refused to consider the defense values of the fence in preventing Palestinian terrorists from infiltrating Israel. This, despite the UN's own charter acknowledging every state's inherent right to self-defense.

Furthermore, the entire proceedings were a witch hunt with the 22 members of the Arab League and all 55 members of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (some overlap) there to speak against the fence.

The entire farce was initiated by the UN, whose Arab-bloc, non-aligned members and dictators and thugs forced the ICJ proceedings and poisoned the waters by issuing their own biased resolution that convicted Israel and used volatile, biased language, such as "occupied territory", when Israel is not, in fact, occupying any territory.

There ya go, Mr. Research.

Total sham. Totally meaningless, non-binding ruling. YAAAAAAWWNN.

Most rationally thinking people would not characterize Israeli security as a radical concept.

there is very little Israel has done in the last 20 years that had anything really to do with their security.

the solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict is for the Palestinians to let go of their hatred of Jews and for the Israelis to let go of their hatred of Arabs.

Translation: You're unable to respond.

No...what I typed is what I meant. After discoving so many omissions and distortions in your first post I am not going to waste my time fact checking any further claims made by you.

Translation: After much consideration, you realize you really, really are unable to dispute me. Have you read, yet, Buergenthal's opinion on the ICJ fence ruling, Mr. Research?

LOL, what a twisted and distorted cognition you have.

If the IDF had committed genocide during that conflict, the dispute would have been over.

Is anyone seriously suggesting that as a solution?

The law of armed conflict distinguishes between war and genocide. The aim of war is to thoroughly and completely destroy the enemy.

So you are really dreaming of a endsolution like Hitler had one. very telling.
Lucky most Israelis are sane people.

Can we at least start by agreeing on giving the whole of Westbank to the Palestinians for their future state? :boxedin:

You are somehow justifying ethnic cleansing of Jews? Sorry, the West Bank will not be Judenrein, like in Gaza and most Arab countries.

yes that would be wrong, i think the Jews living in the west bank should be allowed to become citizens of Palestine and have the same rights like every other Palestinian citizen.
