• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.
If I am trying to get to the bottom of a potential case of treason, and am interviewing someone who, on a related manner has either lied under oath or is terminally confused, I don't think he deserves any softball questions.

I would have thought that such a level of confusion would be... problematic in an AG.

It's a very interesting tactic to basically say. " na-na, na-na, boo-boo, stick your head in doo-doo." I'm not going to answer you.
There appears that there is no recourse to this tactic. I guess things will go no where until the inevitable criminal trials and people can be held in contempt of court.

Contempt of Congress is a real crime. Unfortunately, Congress is currently being controlled by sniveling cowards.

As much as I dislike Sessions, I don't think he has any involvement or knowledge of Russian/Trump campaign shenanigans.

Sessions came across badly. Sounded drunk.

His claim to be unable to recall or remember anything yet be adamant he doesn't recall doing anything improper and that he had Executive Order privilege, which meant he didn't have to disclose what Trump said to him in private conversation, whilst looking faux relaxed, made him sound like a liar, and not even a convincing one.

Based on what?

He certainly knows more about Trump's obstruction than he is admitting to given Sessions is claiming he recommended Comey's firing because of Comey's handling of the Clinton investigation and there is on-the-record evidence from Sessions' own mouth that is not true.

He lied to congress about meeting with Kislyak at least twice and most likely three times. He's in deep enough.

So Sessions confirms that Trump cleared the room to speak to Comey and that Comey later expressed concern to him about being alone with Trump.

So these "meetings" have been occasions where Sessions and Kislyak have been in the same room, with dozens of other people, at public events? What a plot!

Hahahaha, you couldn't make it up.:boggled:

No.

One of the meetings was a private conversation between Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak that took place in September in the senator’s office, at the height of what U.S. intelligence officials say was a Russian cyber campaign to upend the U.S. presidential race.

There's a marked contrast between his occasional laser-guided memory where he can remember the tiniest of details about the legal ramifications of his recusal, and the times were he's jess a reg'lar ole country moron and he cain't remember rec-uh-lect anyone ever meetin' with no Russians at all.

FTFY

I'd love to know the number of times the dried-out weasel used "recollect" or "recollection" today. I'd wager triple digits.

I was hoping for a whodathunkit moment when Della comes into the courtroom and hands Perry a note and he traps Beauregard who breaks down screaming, "I did it! Okay? I did it! I even gave them the maps to the missile silos in Yomammastan, and I'm glad I did!"

Alas, my earlier prediction was more accurate. He's part of Quadruple H Team. Hapless(Trump), Helpless(Bannon), Hopeless (Coulter), and Heartless (Beau-Jay). Like the guy he works for, has no compunction at perjuring himself. His people have been releasing statements that there was definitively no such meeting at the Mayflower. Now? Ol' Beauregard, jes' cain't bremember.

Anyone else watch expecting him to break into the Harry Morgan (pre Sherman T. Potter) bit on M*A*S*H when he goes into a minstrel routine?
