I don't think he's been crushed. I think he is beginning to think a little about why he has a belief, and why. What actually is behind his belief in the christian god. He might ask himself “Did I really hear the voice of god, or did I just imagined it, or perhaps it was wishful-thinking”.

His world has definitely been crushed. Anybody who seriously believes that 'God' is specifically speaking through them must be "crushed" to find out that they have been completely deluded.

I appeal to the caring-part of your human nature to go easy on the guy. Unless he is completely insane he will acknowledge this fact for himself and will be suffering greatly as you all berate him.

I can understand that and it certainly wouldn't bode well for me in these forums if I were to immediately antagonise someone upon joining up. But lets just see what he says when/if he returns. If he well and truly believed God was speaking directly to him on this occasion, then, chances are, he has in the past well and truly believed God was speaking directly to him and faced a situation like this before (speculation I grant you). If he has previously managed to salvage his world after apparently having been duped then he may do again.

Nah. If you've read Randi's commentaries, specifically the ones about people who applied for the prize and failed, you'd know that things like this never faze them, regardless of how much they've built up the challenge in their head beforehand, or how certain they seem that it's going to happen.

They never change their minds. Assuming 1inChrist is sincere in what he says he believes, there are tons of ways he could avoid the cognitive dissonance this failure threatens him with. For starters, he's already said that it's possible that bin Laden was indeed captured on the 29th, but that we won't find out until much later. That "out" can last him for months, yet. After that, he could say it was a lesson to us to listen to the Bible instead of flawed human beings -- after all, the Bible is very clear about false prophets. Or he could fall back on his favorite, Satan, and hold this whole mess up as evidence of how right he is: if it was this easy for Satan to hoodwink even a God-fearing Christian like himself, imagine how effortlessly the devil maneuvers the souls of we sinful disbelievers right into his fiery clutches!

There's no reason to worry about the state of 1inChrist's faith in his delusions. He'll shrug the whole thing off, no matter what.

Someone who hates those that follow other religions, have no religion at all, don´t belive - or are not convinced- that there is a god, someone who have different sexual orientation, etc.?

Well, if 1inC's world has been crushed as Lg suggests, I think it's a wonderful outcome for 1inC. The fundy rigidity of thinking is stultifyingly mean. The world he brought here was so easily ridiculed and he was selling the eternal torment of hell to atheists. He had nothing in his life that caused him to bring to us the joy and light of the wonderfulness of his life and faith that one suspects there was none. Threat, Control and Fear was the trinity he hoped to enlighten us to.

Crushing that world was a service to him if we had any role in doing so. But I believe Toddjh is correct that this will not be the crushing of any world but a lesson in how the rigid Christian needs to occasionally shrug off the revelations of God.

How many times can a rigid thinking Christian live through his own prediction of the end of the world? Answer: As many as it takes.

They love predicting the end. Just because it doesn't happen is no flaw in God... often it means God, at the last minute, chose to spare us... it's a demonstration of God's love. But they always warn, His patience is wearing thin. And then, since the world doesn't change, they predict the end again.

This prediction is less crushing than the end of the world prediction that does not happen. I'm afraid that his world will not be crushed. I think that's too bad.

Because unless he is insane, he must now be doubting lots of things.
If he is insane, then he obviously needs help. Would you not try to help your father/mother/brother/sister/wife/husband/son/daughter if they went insane? Of course you would. As you would help them if they were starving or destitute. So why wouldn't you help your next door neighbour for the same affliction?

If he isn't insane, then he must be hurting badly right now. His worldview has been crushed. He is in emotional turmoil.
Given that 'God' was the light of his life, I would suggest that he is probably on the verge of despair. As such, given the power of 'despair', I would suggest that you all concentrate on picking the guy up, rather than digging him a grave.
