I doubt he will need to make any excuses for his failure at all. Standard operating procedure for kooks is if you have multiple responses, which you will, and one is a concrete objection while the other is a philisophical one, you answer the philisophical one and ignore the other guy. I wouldn't be surprised to see a long thread in a few days about whether or not it breaking a promise is a sin if you have to sin to keep the promise.

Well I got to admit I'm pretty excited too. After all, I got $100 riding on this. Of course it's 5:30 EST as I type this and so far, I've heard not a peep about Osama's capture. I'm starting to suspect that my money is quite safe.

Just as a reminder, 1inChrist. Our agreement was that if Osama wasn't captured, you would post a farewell post confessing that you are a troll. I didn't want you to forget. I mean, just in case the Osama thing doesn't pan out.
 
I would have predicted that he was dead, not having heard from him for so long.

So for me, concerning 1inC's prediction... Osama is still alive and at large.

Although to be fair to 1inC, no one has really understood the communications of the desert god. Even when He puts it all down in holy writ, most people get the interpretation wrong.

If 1inC was introspective I think he might admit that, lose his obsession with hell and eternal torment, and just try to think what an all-honorable god would want from his imperfect creation.
 
If nothing else, OBL did make the news on the 29th. Far cry from being captured but still....ok, I admit, I'm still in love with 1inC :D

Except that the tape was made before today, so the actual event of OBL's "capture" happened earlier. Still, the irony was pretty funny. Funnier still if 1inC uses that as his excuse tomorrow.

I've been keeping an eye on the active users from time to time, but I haven't spotted 1inC since Thursday (UK time).

It's 30th October here now.
 
He's from the US, as long as it's still Friday in the US he'll consider it valid. Even though it's the 30th in every country you could possibly expect to find OBL.
