The prophecies of Ama

You may read my reply to Akhenaten on message #1184, page 30, http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showpost.php?p=9842296&postcount=1184 regarding storms in the Philippines. You will note that most of these deadly and destructive storms happened after 1980.

It's such a shame that the "prediction" didn't mention the Philippines...

It just occurred to me that (I could be wrong) that Ama has never ever predicted one good thing about the future world. It's all War, death, destruction, end of the World, stopping the 2012 Olympics. She could not even predict her electric power being turned off.

If Ama is omnipotent and knew these things 40 years ago she could have predicted the end of the Cold War, the Internet, Cell Phones, improved Cancer treatments, satellite television, or the end of the Marcos tyranny in her own country.

But no. Only doom and gloom, none of which has happened except in the generalisations that her so-called prophesies which are so non specific, that anybody could say them. It's like she was writing Revelation while on Ice.

The only thing that she seems to have done passably well, is to convince idiots to keep giving her money.

There were 18 strong earthquakes in 1990 alone, including two in the Philippines, just for you.

This prediction is much like virtually all of the others. It's vague and meaningless.

You could always do some research into the subject and find out for yourself.

Note: Research does not mean "ask Ama". Research means getting off your bum and checking world wide records of deaths caused by Lightning since, say 1950, and whether they are higher or lower by % of population in any year since then.

Do you know that you can actually find out things for yourself, and not depend on someone in the Philippines to tell you everything?

...didn't think so. But get back to us when you have an answer.

ETA: But before you start Advent means the arrival of something or someone of importance. Like everything else people have been killed by Lightning since the dawn of Homo Sapien. So again, how can something which has been happening forever, just like all of her other prophesies, be an Advent?
