So why is Navalny still alive?Like Trump, Putin is all about the money. But unlike Trump, Putin isn't an incompetent boob.

Well said. This stuff is dangerous, and I have a good reason for being so allergic to this anti-Russian propaganda and so ashamed that my (German) government is involved in it in such a docile manner to the Anglo script:
That is that my grandfather was forced on the way by foot to Stalingrad to kill "the enemy" when he was a very young man and my mother, his first child, was about to be born. He was lucky that his toes froze off, he wasn't able to fight anymore and was sent home to continue to live to old age - without a couple of toes and without ever talking to anybody about what had happened.
It's like apologia and denialism of the destruction of MH17 by the Putin-backed terrorists.Ah ok, so actual evidence of his poisoning, including the secret service actually admitting it on tape is 'purportedly'. Right.
And I note you did not answer my question.
I've already noted I do not agree with his political views, but still consider it wrong for Putin to strongarm all opposition into death or prison. You?
Because the SVR is raddled with cronyismSo why is Navalny still alive?
John Helmer said:The last unanswered question about Alexei Navalny was answered this week in a Moscow courtroom by Navalny himself. For the first time he didn’t have production back-up from his MI6 helper, Maria Pevchikh of London, or his CIA and BND teams in the Black Forest of Bavaria.
The question is a medico-psychiatric one. It was first made public by Navalny’s treating doctors at the Charité clinic in Berlin. These doctors, it was, who revealed that Navalny was a heavy user of lithium and benzodiazepine drugs. They published this in a set of four data tables they attached as appendices to their case report on Navalny. Their data raised the question — what would happen if Navalny was forced to withdraw from his drugs quickly.
After eighteen days in remand prison in Moscow, Navalny answered this question himself in the Babushkinsky district court on February 5.
The disclosure that in his Tomsk hotel on August 19, hours before he collapsed and the Anglo-German OPERATION NOVI-NOVICHOK commenced, Navalny had taken a large dose of lithium, diazepam, nordazepam, oxazepam, and temazepam, was first published on December 22 in The Lancet. Read the report and the analysis here. [...]
Uhh what? I’m American. I’m talking about an observation I’ve made about MY people, not saying that ours is the only perspective in the world. I’ll just repeat my observation, liberals in my country have this tendency to support ******-up politicians, like Suu Kyi or Navalny, because they are enemies of our enemies and are telegenic and enamor our media class.
Knowing what I know about Nalvany’s views on nationalism and his disdain for ethnic minorities, if he were to ascend to power, then he’d have a good chance to pull a Suu Kyi and commit a genocide. We should just stay out of Russia’s politics.
So why is Navalny still alive?
I can't find words to comment on your grandfather's experience.
Thank you for telling me.
It's painful to see our countries' journalists talk in logical fallacies, exaggeration, and hyperbole.
It's painful to somebody who thinks the likes of Putin in Russia and the CCP in China are above criticism.
Mmmm, given that's it by Helmer no I won't. I take it he's still pushing the "no poison" lie?Update:
Make sure to read the full article.
Well Helmer certainly does. It's great that at this point everybody who supports this deluded narrative is brightly visible as either a moron or a shill.
John Helmer said:[...] In the presentation of their case evidence, Eckardt, Steindl, and the others [authors of the Charité report published in The Lancet, CE] do not claim that their four tabulations of Navalny’s biochemical records substantiate the Novichok poisoning allegation. That started with Navalny’s staff and was amplified through the Bundeswehr in the mouth of the chancellor, Angela Merkel. However, by maintaining their silence to the questions put to them, and by ignoring the questions posed by Kozak, the German doctors are complicit in the Navalny campaign waged by their state, and by Germany’s western allies. In this campaign, the silence of Horton, James and The Lancet speaks even more loudly.
