The Peng Shuai Affair

Yes. The "disappear and memory hole Peng Shuai" t-shirt wearing contingent might cause a ruckus.

And where exactly is the right not to be offended by other people's t-shirts enumerated? The snowflake manifesto?

I don't know how you came to the conclusion that what you typed had anything to do with what I typed. It's a rule designed to keep the grandstands from becoming a political battlefield, with various factions fighting to get their slogans as much TV exposure as possible. It's a sensible approach, and I happen to support the sentiment expressed by the t-shirt in question.

Uh, in case it wasn't obvious, who would politically oppose a statement seeking to free a girl who was kidnapped by government seeking to cover-up its corruption? Do you expect the CCP to be in attendance at the Australian Open?

Your claim that the AO would devolve into a "political battlefield" if not for a t-shirt ban is nonsensical, and color me surprised, you oppose free speech as well.

Are you really this clueless, or is this just a juvenile attempt to bait members into yellow cards? I'm genuinely curious.

Huh? You are failing to understand Australia's relationship with China. Of course the Chinese government is interested in the Australian Open. If you knew the first thing about Sino-Australian relations, you'd know that China is absolutely interested in what happens in Australia, especially when it concerns one if its citizens.

But I shouldn't expect that someone in Florida knows a great deal about Asian politics.

So in other words, you support appeasing the Chinese Communist Party at the AO concerning its kidnapping of Chinese tennis player Feng Shuai in response to her sexual abuse allegations of Zhang Gaoli by banning t-shirts that say "Free Feng Shuai". Does that about sum it up?

I presume you also support banning Djokovic as well.

No, not really. What you are failing to understand is that the real world isn't as plain yes-or-no left-or-right as you would like it to be. Not holding one extreme position doesn't automatically mean that you must therefore hold the opposite extreme position.

You appear to have a very naive and unsophisticated grasp of international politics.

I presume you also support banning Djokovic as well.
Novax? Oh yes. Absolutely. Keep that dickhead out of my country. Goddamn lying idiot. I don't care how well you play tennis. You follow the rules or you get the **** out.
