Don't you people know that the nazis were socialists? It's right there in the name: national socialists! Just like the democrats, who are also socialist! And communists, of course. And nazis. QED!

"Socialist" is a term that European political parties liked to tag onto
their parties' names. Do they still? Probably; it's a nice frill to add to the
birthday cake. Their hope is, of course, to try to pull in votes from workers, bourgeois, and
students. Thus they reduce "socialist" to a meaningless series of sounds.

Don't challenge ME to define the word anyway!

It'll be something to the effect of "The Supreme Court wouldn't even hear my side of the story, because if they did, it would be public record and they need to keep THE TRUTH hidden from the public. And buy some of these supplements from this great patriotic company with which I have no affiliation."
 
More fool me for not checking properly! But they're using the logo and the branding (and that site has many funny hidden easter eggs) so if it's not theirs then The Onion are opening themselves up for countersuits, surely?

It's never too early to celebrate; best case scenario = you get to celebrate twice, worst case scenario = well, at least you got to celebrate once! We are definitely talking win-win, even if you lose-lose☺️

To piggyback on this, even if the Onion doesn't get it this time it still won't go completely back to Jones. That's the crucial thing. His fat ass can sit shirtless all he wants but it won't get his media empire back.
 
Jones has moved what he can over into a shell company, and the lawyers of the victims will have to continue to work to extract some money from him.

The Onion Takeover is probably going to fizzle out quickly.

I'd much rather see someone turn the Site into a searchable Database with everything Jones has said about anyone and anything with links to episodes timestamps. All his failed and stupid predictions.
Something you can quickly link to whenever anyone in Jones' orbit makes any claim about him or Trump or MAGA, etc.

The shell company game will fail, legally. That's simply avoiding his legal obligations, and will be nullified. Previous court decisions have ruled so, apparently. Our resident legal prognosticators have already mentioned this.
