Personally, I think there was less of a problem in re: Communism and more of a biology problem. Gary is a human and has a Muppet brother Walter. It is never said that Walter is adopted or they are stepbrothers, therefore, Gary and Walter's mom was banging a Muppet. What kind of message does this send? WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!?!?!

Well, Kermit is obviously a member of the Green Party, so fairly liberal. But I think commie is a bit of an exaggeration.
