You have absolutely no clue what roles religious leaders and figures play in various denominations of Christianity, so you ignorantly lump them all together into one wad of nonsense that fits your preferred interpretation of the Koran, but doesn't match what any actual Christians believe.

And also, most muslims don't make themselves this stupid. They (the bulk of muslim scholars and muslims) reject numerology and using outside sources to prove the Koran (e.g., periodic table). You should first go convince the muslims on your miracles and your numerology. What happens if scientists change their mind on an issue that you used as your scripture's "miracle"? (How about the "facts" the Koran claim to state that already go against modern science?)
Besides, your biggest miracle is supposed to be " the Arabic inimitable literature of the Koran". Why don't you explain this to us, how it is a literary miracle for the county of Japan, or India or France or.....anyone besides the Arab "muslim believer".

The point, for me, isn't to try and "win" any debate of Christianity vs Islam, but to explore the profound ignorance and mismatched pride Emre_1974tr brings to other topics. It's clear he is as uninformed about Christianity as he is about a great many scientific topics, yet he appears to be bring the same comically mismatched pomp and preening to discussion of Christianity as he does to science.

Think of it as a holistic approach to eviscerating Emre_1974tr's arguments. By demonstrating the immense depth and breadth of his ignorance we further highlight just how asinine his pride is in trying to "educate" anyone about anything. For example:

This is the response he offers despite having been repeatedly humiliated in this thread. He doesn't know how humiliated he has been because he does not appear to be reading the bulk of the replies. I'm participatory fond of his line, "You get what you memorize without thinking without question," because he has repeatedly demonstrated he has little to no comprehension of the topics he's posting about. Even his posts about the Koran are largely copied and pasted from other sources.

Regardless of if Christianity is a "pagan" religion or not, the simple fact remains that you are woefully ignorant of the theology you are trying to discuss. You know jack squat about Christian theology of any kind, yet you puff yourself up like a frog seeking a mate and pretend otherwise.

You are not qualified to speak about Christian theology as you have made it clear you know nothing about it. Gloating like a pig coupling with a sow won't change your proven ignorance.

Furthermore, you have demonstrated the Koran displays ignorance of Christianity. Even your use of an alternate translation left the Koran misrepresenting Christian theology. Was that ignorance upon the part of Mohammad, or was he deliberately lying when he misrepresented what Christians believe? That is not a rhetorical question. I want to know how you answer that question.

Though I'm sure Emre will reply this from his worldview, the fact is that the Quran was compiled in Uthman times, 20 years after Saint Muhammad's death. By that time Palestine, Egypt and most of Syria -all of them Christian countries- had fallen under Muslim control, and the conquest of the rest of North Africa -also Christian countries- would start. So it's safe to say that they needed to tweak it in a manner it contained anti-Christian propaganda that it was never in Saint Muhammad's mind and heart.

I will, however, still ask Emre_1974tr to explain, in his own words, why the Koran is wrong about Christian theology. I doubt he would offer the same explanation that you have.

No, the Qur'an was made into a book while Muhammad was alive.

Verses and archaeological evidence say that.

The imam from Mekka in this video says "there is ample Quranic evidence that it is the Sun that revolves around the Earth". And I agree with him. You should go to the tafsirs (islamic scholarly interpretations of the Qoran) that have been around for 1400 years to see it yourself. By the way do you understand Arabic?

Also hadith is to be followed by the order of Allah in the Quran.
Even if this issue were only Hadith-dependent you should be embarrassed and regret that you started this post.

Regardless of when the book was compiled, what is your explanation for the bit of Christian theology it got wrong in the example above?

Wrong.
It was first compiled after his death from notes on bones, leaves etc. (According to one of his wives -Aisha, who was his wife at the age of 6- the verse that had the order of stoning the adulterers were eaten by a goat from under her bed. Thus it's still an order without a written verse in the Quran). Check it out from islamic sources.
The 1st Khaliph ordered it's compillation to Zeyd bin Sabit.
And during the 3rd Khaliph those copies were ordered to be destroyed to be re-written.

NO!!!! Contrary to the facts. Though mainly Zayd ibn Thabit's work, there are many hands in it, and both written and oral traditions were compiled. Though, as a youngster, he had taken direct dictation from the holly man, Zayd ibn Thabit didn't start the final compiling work until way after Saint Muhammad's passing.

If you last being a member of this forum you'll learn a lot from us.
