Hey everyone! I see this is where the cool kids in the LC forum hang out once they get past "Gone"! I was debating with Killtown on New Years Day and I got banned a few hours later! All I have to say, these guys are terrible when it comes to debating and science!

Thanks! I was banned after telling Killtown over and over that he's creating the wrong comparison when comparing Pan Am 103 vs. Flight 93. He never seemed to have gotten the message and said I was ignorant...

Killtown is straightway stupid and paranoid. If you wan´t to survive
over there, you really have to avoid everything that can fly or crash.

I came to JREF the same way. Enjoying the summer, surfed a
littlebit, saw a crazy conspiracy movie, went to the LC-Forum,
asked some questions, got banned and finally came to this funny
place...
 
Well I dunno what happened to the much anticipated invasion of 'truthers' we were expecting, but we certainly seem to have had an influx of new skeptics in these last couple of weeks.

It's amazing how addicting JREF can be too, it's almost like a drug, nicht wahr?

When they probably never leave the house for fear of being watched my the government.


My point is, people on here are just too funny lol, unlike those on LC who have no wit at all.

That's the high from talking to people who either actually know what they're talking about, or are willing to admit they don't know something, and are honestly trying to learn something. I'd be very surprised if any of the skeptics here couldn't relate at least one "I didn't know that!" moment from our discussions here. I know I've learned a lot.

Oh, absolutely. It´s too funny to quit here. Maybe
a little bit boring from time to time - but you can
still blame Lisa or tweak Darats nose in the meantime. :p

At one point, one of them actually wonders why the new "Freedom Tower" is supposed to be 1776 feet tall. Heck, I'm Canadian, and I got that reference right away.

I guess people this clueless are too used to not getting the joke, so anytime someone makes a joke, they see it as a personal attack, or something.
 
I've seen people on here with 30,000 posts. That's not a typo: thirty THOUSAND posts. But as enjoyable as this place is, if I'd found it five years ago I might well be in the five figures myself. And I'm sure I'd be a lot smarter, too...

Like I said earlier, Dylan's "Ban at will" policy is going to backfire on him. Already, look at the influx of people who were just asking questions, who have now come over to the dar-- I mean who have now seen the light.
