Now I'm annoying myself, as posting a follow-up to a bit of throwaway silliness is as much a waste of time as getting wound up by a bit of throwaway silliness.

I have a spoiler for you, a lot of jokes aren't actually cemented in truth. Almost all stand-up comedians don't tell factual stories based in reality.

I know, it was shocking to me the first time I found out as well but I accepted it. It's just a joke, and may I point out that Vance, himself, is full of BS. He spouts BS about people all of the time, every day, almost all of the day actually. That's what makes it funny.

Except with some things, it becomes accepted as truth, I can see Russia from my house and what not.

I can understand your frustration. With all the things that are legitimately wrong with Vance, making fun of the whole 'couch love' thing seems rather silly.

But, on the other hand:
- There have been plenty of legitimate criticisms of Trump made over the years, yet the MAGAchud cult seem to dismiss them.
- The MAGAchud have also been eager to embrace their own "made up" memes targeting Democrats (such as "Michelle is a man", "Obama is from kenya", etc.)

Maybe doing things that mock vance (such as "he wants to replace the couch in the oval office with a "love seat") will have more of an impact on republican electability than pointing out real, legitimate flaws.

Remember, the democrats seemed to have some success (meaning an increase in poll numbers) when Walz was able to bring in the phrase "weird" to describe Trump/Vance.

So in the worst case scenario here people actually believe that JD Vance ◊◊◊◊◊◊ a couch? So? Who gives a ◊◊◊◊?

The results for the worst case scenario of things JD Vance says is significantly worse. He repeated the claims about Garcia being in a gang while Garcia was facing deportation and supported that deportation. He pushes the election fraud nonsense, he claims Dems support fraud in general. All of these claims made by the Vice President carry actual weight. It has stoked distrust and hate between the political parties. Yet I'm supposed to care if a bunch of people actually believe JD Vance sticks his dick between couch cushions? What damage is that possibly doing?

Nobody believed her that wasn't already a walking sack of stupid. Again, there's no damage in that and the reason it's so easy to shrug off these poutrage when it comes to the couch meme is because of how large of a pile of ◊◊◊◊ Vance is in general.

After so many people complained about making the Vance sofa joke it's kinda rude for you to post using the words "open mouth", "pissing", "jerking", "Trump", "Rubio", and "Vance" in the same post. C'mon, bro, some of us have visual imaginations. What has been seen cannot be unseen, even if it's just the mind's eye. Have a heart!
