True story: today I turned on my car radio for maybe the 3rd time in the 6 years I've had it. There was a song on the radio with a distinctly 80s timbre whose chorus sounded like a group of people chanting "down in the sausage room!!" over and over. I have no idea what they might have been saying.

Anyone have a clue?

I suspect that the song you are referring to might be "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight" by The Jam.
