Fox found the worst take!

Curious that trolls don't come out when Geraldo gets accused.

To be fair, the situation with Geraldo Rivera is more akin to that of Bill Crosby (i.e. an event causes old allegations to come back to the surface.)

If Mr. Rivera hadn't made his comments concerning the Matt Lauer situation on Twitter, he would have not found out what happens when the "Streisand Effect" meets the old saying about people in glass houses... :D

Maybe as men become more powerful, they need to be reminded of this. You only deserve a Styrofoam cup. You are not the position you hold. I suspect that if as we groomed people for positions of power, if we reminded them they would hold this position for a brief time, they'd be less abusive of their power.

When I managed a particular business I had several women offer me sex if I'd put them on my shift. No lie. It was an odd business.

Should I have sued? ;) And no I never accepted the offers. I would look at that as rape - holding someone's job hostage for sex is sick.

If I'd accepted the offers I could probably get in trouble, right? Duh. They could say whatever they wanted after that and I'd be screwed.

Funny, because one woman did sue (not me, and long after I'd quit!!!), made up a bunch of lies, and she lost. Still cost the company $60K in legal fees (a bargain).

This is the same job I mentioned in a similar thread a few minutes ago. I testified and provided key evidence (text msgs, be careful people) for the defense, lucky for them.

It is not a good feeling having your text messages read aloud in court - although me having other messages that proved she was lying was very satisfying. Seriously, be careful what you say!

Oh, during jury selection one of the potential jurors said that she thought the plaintiff was telling the truth because, "Why would she make all this up?" The defense attorney told me this later. He put her on the jury anyways just to prove a point, or show off (it was a really bad case).

Upon polling the jury, she'd voted 1-11 against the other jurors on every count (or whatever, sorry if my lingo is off).

What an eye opener that trial was! She had a terrible attorney too. The judge admonished him several times while I was on the stand. My first and only trial and it was a doozy.
