I don't know about troll, but otherwise I'm with Zep. The only reason I leave out the troll call is that I think she is really (internally) sincere. The (external) outcome is, admittedly, indiscernable from tolldom.

But what bothers me A LOT more (and may well be a more productive derail of this silly thread) is why Zep cited "the whole 9 yards." Don't you marsupials have an equivalent metric saying?

Why did you come to these boards? Obvious - to evangelise, of course. You thought, "Where can I find a bunch of christ-deniers that are plainly headed for the fiery abyss?"

Let me ask you a question - what christian denomination are you? I would guess Baptist or possibly one of the many protestant 'non-denominational', charismatic options. Am I right?

So why didn't you go to the Catholic boards to evangelise?
I mean, they are going to hell, right? Well, maybe. Depends, really, on how hard-line your denomination is towards other denominations.

Maybe you don't actually know whether catholics are going to hell? Ask your church leader, he'll tell you.

Atheists? Hellfire for definite.
Satanists, Pagans, Witches? No doubt there - hellfire.
Muslims? Easy, hell.
Buddhists? They'll burn.
Mormons, Christian scientists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Jews? Hmmm, they almost had the right idea but rules are rules - off to hell.
Catholics, Seventh Day adventists? So close. Now it's getting tricky.
Anglicans, Methodists, Moravians, Presbyterians? Some of them might make the grade if they only wised up a bit, don't you think?

I am beginning to think so as well. Surely if she was serious about bringing us to salvation she would attempt to answer our questions. Even if every answer she gave was a bible verse.

Christianity is great for people who find life too confusing. Kurious Kathy seems to be one of them. All you have to do is believe this interpretation of this book and you don't have to think for yourself anymore about what's right, what's wrong, how you should live, what's the meaning of life, what happens when you die, etc. You don't have to take responsibility for your own life anymore because it was god's will (and he works in mysterious ways) or the devil made you do it. The price to pay isn't too high, who cares about thinking for yourself anyway? (or sunday mornings)
