Nevermind, of course, that such a Vast International Conspiracy which is powerful enough to sell you into slavery in this manner would never act like a bunch of paralyzed numpties when you say "Rumplestiltskin" three times on the Internet and twirl around in place... responding only with "I'd have got away with it too if it weren't for you meddling Sovereigners!"

So they want the money for something they don't consent too, nice.
How do they prove who they are when they are a freeman? Do they, for this occasion only, admit to being the legal fiction to get the money then revert back to the loser of the family sponge moniker. No wait the records will say loser of the family sponge but they don't tell you this, they use the legal fiction until you come along with your real name, damn it's complicated.

A TPUC member (arten) has posted comprehensive instructions how to access this bond in order to pay your utility bills.
He says that it is a method for turning the remittance slip into a cheque.
He swears it works, and he is paying his bills in this manner with positive results. (Well, at least that's what he says:D)
The theory is something along the lines that the remittance slip attatched to the bottom of the bill is in fact a bill of exchange but the utility company don't tell you because if you send them a cheque in payment they can cash in the BoE and get paid twice.
But arten has it sussed and says:

I have been inundated with request for instruction on how to use a Negotiable Instrument which my water company accepted has payment. I will now show you how I turned a remittance slip into a cheque and hope you have the same success I have had. If any company refuses this method of payment I would suggest that you ask them to put their reasons in writing for two reasons. One, their objections will help us should the methodology need refining in any way, two it will form a strong part of your defence should any legal action be taken against you, in that you can show the court that you have paid met the liability they created in accordance with the Bill of Exchange Act 1882. I would suggest that you photo copy your cheque which is then your proof of payment and you are covering your self.

Ok firstly make sure the remittance slip is kept attached to the bill statement you need to write on both parts.

On the top part to my water company I wrote clear instructions in an authoriative manner instructing the chief accountant what I wanted them to do. I usurped the role of creditor and wrote in Red Ink the following:

Paid in Full

Attention of chief accountant

Reset account to Zero

In accordance with Bill of Exchange Act 1882

On the Remittance slip write like you would a cheque

Pay allcheating companies ltd
five hundred and seventy pounds only

Fill in the box where it says cheque with the numerical amount 570 put the same amount in total box

Sign and date it

then on the back print your name and address with post code and sign it

Send by recorded delivery addressed to Chief Accountant

I always knew that people believed some crazy stuff, but wow. "Turn an invoice into a cheque." That's magic, baby.
 
I've been dealing with one of these the FMOTL idiots at work (I'm a solicitor) - I've had the works: Admiralty Courts, Affadavits left right & centre, straw men etc etc.

Frankly, he's annoyed me & by the time I've finished with him he's going to be considerably poorer than he is now.

They believe a parking ticket is a bill of exchange.
They even believe a court fine is a bill of exchange and can be "accepted for value".:D

It usually is included in the price, and in certain situations one can claim it back.

Actually I have just bought a £650 bicycle for £553, which works out at 12 monthly installments of £32.

Cycle to work scheme, so I gave the shop the £650 pound voucher of collection, it was VAT-free, and then came out of my gross salary before tax

This is in addition to the rest of the FOTL insanity that thinks that money to pay for services received from government is magically created out of nothingness (see other postes about banks just creating money).

I get this suspicion that there are really nasty and somewhat discrete administrative ways of making life unpleasant for people who make the effort to annoy. :)

Increasing the associated fines would only work where FOTL have actual money. I suspect a bigger factor would be increased streamlining as the courts got more used to dealing with such cases.

damn that fractional currency. If we just stuck to using natural numbers then they would be natural laws of mathematics and the FOTL's would obey them.
