Well Robert, its people like you that Canadians also laugh at and the USA has never bailed out our banks, which btw are regulated more stringently than yours and fared quite well over these past several years while yours went down the tubes. The USA has never bailed us out militarily either. Our military size in consistent with our population whereas yours is your country's single biggest expenditure and is larger than any other country's. In fact iirc its larger than the combined military of the rest of the world.
