We can all do whataboutery. If that is the best you can manage your sauce is incredibly weak.
That’s ironic, since whataboutery has been the primary defense of Chris “Fredo” Cuomo.

It isn't a defense of Cuomo; it's a defense of CNN and liberals.
You and your cohort Warp 12 will never hold your side accountable when you can't even recognize what that looks like. To you, talking about how CNN's actions are better than places like FOX, and how the actions of Democrats, progressives, and liberals must be a defense of the Cuomo's. This is because you just can't wrap your head around how that's not even the goal.
This is why the GOP will stay in its authoritarian spiral. To the left, the movement is not deference to the famous people in it. To the right, that's all it is.

CNN is knocking it out of the park!
Chris "my rapey family" Cuomo
Don "smell my fingers" Lemon
Jeffrey "this is what I call" Toobin
They know how to pick 'em, that's for sure. Liberal values.
Bill O'Reilly
Roger Ailes
Ed Henry
Sean Hannity
Tucker Carlson...

This thread isn’t about liberals, it’s about Cuomo. To the extent that it’s about CNN, it’s because they were his employer. You’re the one trying to make everything into one side or the other, not me.
You are everything you claim I am.
May I go along with Tyr here and say that Andrew Cuomo if guilty of what he is accused of (and at the moment he is in the same state as a certain Trumpen fuhrer with regards to his conduct around ladies) should be dealt with severely. His handling of Covid after the spin effort rather than the medical effort put in was also a very poor showing, not unlike a certain orange leader of the country. Chris Cuomo's partisan and familial approach to these failings by his brother were also clearly wrong, just like the fawning sycophancy of the Trump clan (except Mary) towards their patriarch. In other words this doesn't seem to be a problem of left or right, but of an elite in the USA and other Western democracies (we have similar problems here in the UK) where they see themselves as above the norms of society and the laws of the country. That can apply to a Trump or a Cuomo, a Carlson or a Cuomo.Parsman was responding to Warp12, who was and has been attacking Dems and CNN. Your response to Parsman was simply wrong because of that. No one here has been defending either Cuomo. Those making it about CNN and the Dems aren't fans of CNN or the Dems.
I'm quite clearly not. That you couldn't tell people weren't defending the Cuomos isn't a fault in me.

Here let me fix your unsophisticated understanding of this topic. The issue isn't that CNN and Fox have people who engage in misconduct. All large organizations have people who engage in misconduct.
The difference is how organizations respond to misconduct. CNN, when it learned of Cuomo's breach of ethics, fired him and announced at the top of their splash page within minutes.
Hannity pretty much did the same thing as Cuomo, breached journalistic ethics by counseling Trump throughout his presidency and did not disclose his meetings to viewers. Which organization took action when they discovered misconduct?

Let me help your understanding of the topic. The topic is about the Cuomo scum. One of them used his role at CNN in an inappropriate way. Hence, CNN is on deck.
The topic is not, "What about Fox?".
Hope this helps.
Dodge. 'Miss' implies the avoidance of the point was accidental. To someone who continues to miss the point, it would appear so.
Probably just as well because if this WAS about Fox it would be 10 times as long and cover 10 times as many people. Just because we can see the mote in our own eye doesn't mean you and your fellow travellers can see the beam in yours.Let me help your understanding of the topic. The topic is about the Cuomo scum. Hm. I'm fairly certain the thread isn't about Fauci either and, yet, you took time to make unsupported attacks on him.
One might expect that thread topics naturally drift over time regardless of posters' intentions and motivations.
It's only bad when liberal/Dems do it.
