Just a few years ago he was on the morning shift with Alyson Camerota. It was clear the first time I saw them together that they hated each other.
It was also interesting to see his developing friendship with Don Lemon, getting to the (slightly saccharine) point where they said they loved each other every night at the handoff.
I think his hour used to belong to Anderson Cooper (his 2nd hour). It will be interesting to see who they get to fill that top-rated cable news slot now, on a permanent basis.

I expected Fox to run a huge headline "Cuomo Fired!" so at first I was somewhat surprised that their coverage was only slightly less tiny than CNN's....but it does make sense, cause Fox doesn't want to make it too obvious that at least CNN has some semblance of ethics and management with a conscience. Which Fox is completely devoid of.
If there is one lesson that we should all take away from this, it's that Fox News is bad.

Well, yeah. It really is. Also that the Republicans are bad compared to the Democrats.
The Democrats, and Democratic officials, investigated wrongdoing by one of their own, and then applied negative consequences when that wrongdoing was evidenced. They didn't shy away from forcing Cuomo out. Contrasting this with Republican actions, and it shows that while the Democrats might not count as good, if they don't make 'good' then the Republicans are certainly 'bad'.
This is repeated with CNN compared to FOX News. CNN found a Cuomo did something deeply unethical and canned him for it, while FOX doesn't punish people also doing deeply unethical things openly (like Tucker and Logan and so many more) in any way at all.
It's entertaining to watch the anti-liberals try to come to grips with organizations responding ethically to unethical behavior by their members. Yes, admitting wrong doing and trying to correct it is in every way superior to denying anything is wrong. Pretending the existence of unethical behavior inside an organization is and can only be from the organization being bad is the same as claiming to be completely unbaisedl; it only means you're doing nothing to correct for it.

I haven't found your point, yet. The comparison you are trying to make about someone at Fox spinning a narrative about Fauci, to Cuomo using his connections to gather intel in order to support his sexual predator brother...well, it is ridiculous.

Cuomo used his job to help his brother, apparently not very effectively. That's a violation of his ethical obligations, and he was fired for it. Logan told vile, crazy lies to millions of Fox viewers, who very likely swallowed them whole, without any consequences. Considering that she has made herself part of the anti-vaxxer crowd, and that most of the 1000+ Americans who are dying of covid every day are unvaccinated, who has provably done more damage to the society?
