To those of you who think that it is all about race and that it is an attack on a black man who dares to stick his head up over the wall, remember that we now have a black, Democratic president and that we threw a white, liberal front-runner for the presidency under the bus when his sexual misconduct became known.

One of Perry's staffers was highly-placed within the restruant association when the harrassment issue was being handled.

Two things come to mind here.

First, liberals are hardly reluctant to attack white conservatives when they set themselves up for it the way Cain is doing.

Second, perhaps conservatives, who are demonstrably quick to condemn black liberals for any real or imagined reason, are simply projecting?

There's no motive.
The Bushies dislike Perry, ... intensely.
The Bushies are maneuvering for "Jeb in 2016". Cain is so beatable that they'd be giggling with glee if he got nominated.
Cain's demise will not boost Romney so much as Perry.
Even if Perry loses, it won't satisfy the Bushies. They want him embarassed, rather than a noble warrior who came in second (a la McCain, a la Romney) and who's in a position to vie for the nomination in '16. Cain staying in there and even losing to Romney would make Rick a distant third - an afterthought.

Thus, I see no logic behind Karl having done this. (Unless he just needs to keep his hand in because he's The Great Satan and it's his nature.)

We just threw one really fine Democratic conressman under the bus for less abusive things than what the pizza pusher appears to have done.

The Jews need a Republican nominee that is loyal to Israel. They need a candidate with a proven track record of loyalty and support. They would prefer someone from Congress. Romney and Cain would not be considered reliable. Ron Paul would be considered hostile since he would end foreign aid. Perry has visited Israel ten times and was their favorite for awhile until his debate performances and drunken sideshow.

That leaves Bachmann, Gingrich, and Santorum. All are fanatical supporters of Israel. Of these I think Gingrich and Santorum are acceptable to the Israelis.

Gingrich is moving up in the polls.

If Democrats had this, the time for it would be right after the GOP convention when Cain was the nominee. I know somebody who is sitting on something (not nearly so bad - I doubt much impact) on Perry to be played out in chapter, verse and four part harmony as soon as he is nominated.

We do know that, whatever he did, they nutter lied about it and told a different fib each time he did so. This is part of a behavioral pattern called "confabulation" and it is a sign of utter unfitness for any office of great trust and responsibility.
