Even according to Forbes, a right wing publication if there ever was one, Biden has told far fewer significant lies than either Trump or Obama.

This isn't a Trump thread, why would I be talking about his lies? And I never claimed Trump doesn't lie. He does, but that's off topic. As for Biden, I pointed to a specific lie (or more accurately, several lies told together on one occasion), but it's hardly the only lies he's ever told. And I'm not demanding you even care about Biden's lies. Feel free not to, if you like. He's hardly unique in being a politician who lies.

Just don't pretend that his mental faculties are still all there, when his decline is obvious.

As I recall, you both had no problems in 2020 with an 'old geezer' like Bernie Sanders,who is older than Biden and who suffered a heart attack while campaigning , being elected POTUS. But he's a progressive, so somehow that must be different.

The problem with your argument is it ignores that you never bashed Trump for his massive dishonesty in any thread. But now, with Biden, all of a sudden you developed principles.

And don't forget Reagan, people still looooove Reagan even though we know now that at the time he was about as compos mentis as his jelly beans. The fact is, the guy at the top doesn't have to be completely there, so long as the people around him can a) keep him from doing or saying anything crazy in public, and b) are competent and capable of running things themselves in his name. Neither of those two things was true for Trump, he was surrounded by people just as crooked and stupid as he is, and nobody can keep Trump from shrieking his mad stupidity every four minutes. Reagan they could just chuck a cloth over him and he'd go right to sleep. Trump can't stop himself talking or texting or phoning or anything, even on the toilet.

Hmmm. "Lying on a regular basis" means having to go back 36 years ago to a 1987 campaign event to find Biden 'lying' about his academics.

Yes, yes...we know you weren't comparing Biden to Trump, but that old footage was released in May 2019 by Brad Parscale, Trump’s 2020 campaign manager. The irony and hypocrisy of the Trump campaign using an over 30 year old rant by Biden which included false statements is off the meter.

and the scam was against a crooked foreign energy company trying to bribe a politician, and he was just partying and buying guns. the whole thing just doesn't bother me that much honestly.

Your spin on the highlighted is fascinating. You obviously need to be reminded that the 2020 campaign was being run during the height of the Covid pandemic when people were dying by the thousands. While Biden was being responsible by NOT holding rallies...aka superspreading events... and campaigning by using televised events he videotaped in his basement, Trump was telling us all how it would be gone by Easter like 'a miracle', that the flu was deadlier, and that despite knowing just how deadly it was, he 'still likes playing it down'. While Biden was acting responsibly, Trump was holding unmasked events like the Oct. Rose Garden event celebrating Amy Coney Barrett's SC nomination.... all the while knowing Covid was airborne. At least eight attendees tested positive for Covid within a week.

For someone who told acbytesla that he has a 'short memory', not only do you have short memory, but a distorted one as well.

Yes, I do believe it because neither you nor the GOP have provided proof that Pres. Biden was involved in any illegal activities by Hunter. All that's been produced during the last five year effort by the right wing are accusations. It's been no different than the repeated accusations that the election was rigged: all bluster and no proof. But it just goes to show that some people will believe a lie, regardless of the lack of evidence, if it's what they want/need to believe.

One of my neighbors is generally a nice lady but she still thinks Trump won and that Hunter is guilty. Never mind she can't even say what Hunter is guilty of. Never mind all the court failures or the billion dollar defamation case that Dominion Voting Systems won over Fox News.

Evidence? We don’t need no stinking evidence.

My moron BIL sent my sister a Tucker Carslon TweetX video interviewing Sund, the Chief of the Capitol Police on Jan 6. I was able to disprove all 3 of TC's idiot claims made during just the first minute, including that Pelosi kept the National Guard from being deployed for 71 minutes. I used Snopes to provide quotes that Pelosi had no control of the NG and that Sund's request to the Pentagon for the NG was initially stalled by the Pentagon for over 3 hours. His response:

"It is well known Snopes is a partisan left leaning so called 'fact checking' source that is usually dishonest in its details."

You cannot reason with morons.

I'm pretty sure Snopes lists its sources. But even if your BIL checked that source he would find an excuse.
 
Snopes and all other fact-checking sites are proven to be Commie Leftist Fake-News Socialist Liberal Liars, which is proven by the first time they ever questioned anything Trump said. Even if he contradicted it two minutes later.

My reply to him was "Any excuse in a storm" and he replied, 'I could say the same about you." Which is silly because I VERY, VERY RARELY mention politics around him in order not to put my sister in the middle between her husband and me. He's just an idiot.
