The Biblical Realities of Hell

Isn't Odie that dog from the comic strip "Garfield"? The one that is used for comic effect because he is so colossally dumb?

Yes but that is not the case with my Boy, he is smarter than most atheists. :D
When asked where Jesus is, he looks up, when asked to pray, he kneels, ask him to say I love you is no problem, he does it.
The person who owned him first for about a month abused him and they called him Cody.
When we acquired him he wouldn't respond to any other name because of the beatings and abuse I suppose, but he would to his present name just changed enough, so that was it.
He came to my house on his own when the original owner would leave his camp, he knew where we lived because I would let those two homeless persons, a guy named Rob and his girl friend get water from my faucet.

They were homeless and living on the creek, they were drunks and drug addicts.
They got the dog because some one in Hayfork was giving away puppies, but he, (Odie}, didn’t want them.
We heard them arguing among themselves when we sat in the yard barbequing at night,
We heard the dog when he got kicked and beatings, so at these times we were hearing them scream at each other and at the dog, we herd the squealing from their anger as he was kicked and beat, we heard this several times.
One day, and the last day we let this go on, he came to the house with what appeared to be a broken rib, at which point we figured out how to get him... from them.
They weren't feeding him right and when drunk, giving the dog beer, and bragging about it.
When I heard this from other people I went down to their camp while they were in town to see what was there and what was going on.
I had seen for myself how they abused him, how they then tied him up with no water with the creek right there, the lack of any kind of substantial food, how they would defecate on the ground with out burying it, so on ect...
That morning after that last beating he wouldn’t go with Rob when he went to pick him up, from under our kitchen table.
At which point we bought him because we knew there would be repercussions later on.

He is now over protective of us and would kill some one that did anything against us like break into the house or try to get physical and hurt one of us and was never trained to do that.
He senses anyone coming our way from any direction long before we know.

He has Wolf, Chow, Shepard in his line and is the smartest dog I ever owned, he communicates with many, many facial expressions just as humans do, he’s a con-artist if he wants something… and some times we call him face boy.
But don’t try to feed him or pet him if you haven’t been introduced properly, you will draw back a bloody stump, so I have to be very careful when I take him anywhere.

But if I introduce you properly, which is his way, then he will never forget you.
If you have beer oozing out of your pores or breath forget it, so when a drunk comes our way he warns us.
So being Christian got us that dog, he is heaven sent.
I saved the dog and tried many times to talk to Rob about God and the right thing but in the end he wasn’t listening and died of an overdose, the girl friend he had was Indian and was banging drugs and was still doing what she’s done for years and is well known up there.
To answer some one else’s claim above, a fundamentalist would probably not have done a thing about that situation as I see them.
They are so up tight; they probably wouldn’t have allowed him on their property for water.

That is just so silly to think that other people are clueless to your idea of a god and that is why they don't accept it because of that. It is because we do understand your idea of one and that is why we don't buy into it. And not only that, it doesn't tell us anything about anything for starters, gods only add an unneeded layer to our understanding. God’s are worthless and that is why many that have gone into any real detail about what has been learned about the universe have dropped them. Gods only show the limitations of the believer and nothing more to me. After over 50 years of hearing only words trying to be used as if they were facts and explained the prove of a god, I’ve only seen the need for the speaker to have one and nothing more.

And as for a hell, is that treat of it the best your so-called idea of a god can do to keep his loved people in line, than it is yours to keep, have fun with it.

You only answer what you want to keep parroting.
Now how about this part.
Why in the world would God need men to do his bidding in the aspect of killing off the evil?
Taking out the ones that are truly and utterly vile?

I think you might be characterizing Edge's views on religion. While there are fundamentalists that clearly fall into the category you describe, Edge is most assuredly not a fundamentalist. Rather than try to explain the details of what Edge believes, I would ask that he, himself, explain why he would not follow the reasoning you describe.

It's pretty simple really the Father that Jesus describes is totally different from what the Hebrew establishment says he's like.

Then proved it in many ways, mostly he is everybody’s God, Father.

And when asked for evidence, can only wag his tail and pee submissively?

Well, that is the big problem with gods, you can rewrite them and make them fit your wishes. Over 30,000 different churches in the states, so just pick and choose the god you like.

It doesn't matter how many diffrent churchs they all believe this and many more important aspects.

The three of more important concepts they all believe the same.

'And the Primitive Baptists they believe that you don't go to heaven unless you wash your feet....' -old blues song.

Washing of feet means to serve and be served, Jesus gave the example; goes with the first shall be last and vise versa.
Who did that song? Stevie Ray Vaughan comes to mind as someone who has or might have done it.

Re-write is wrong, correct interpretation is correct.

Funny thing is edge, that is what they all say, and since there is nothing in reality to back it up, they are all right.

That is a nice thought, but again, most of us have no problem with a man that was named Jesus, we do have a problem with people thinking that he was in anyway the son of a god. His story is a blend of so many other stories that came before him that we can see that if he was he was just a man and later people just made him more than he was to try and give him more credit.
