Is that a prediction?
Of course it is, didn't you see all the work he did on it to come up with that year.

Isn't magic great.

Shall we open a book and take bets on what his excuse will be when it doesn't happen?Of course it is, didn't you see all the work he did on it to come up with that year.

2013?
We'll see at the end of this year.
Oh, edge.....I can't quit you.

Spell out the bet.
I am willing to bet that the number of earthquakes larger than 4.0 in the next seven months will not be more than 12.5% greater than the number of earthquakes in the past seven months. If you prefer, you can replace seven with any number up to 19.
2013?
We'll see at the end of this year.
Don't you mean next year?
But seriously, if you are making a prediction about events that you believe will happen next year, then now is the time to spell them out specifically.
How would you like to run my casino?
Spell out the bet.
I assumed he was saying that the ramp up to the amazing levels expected by December 2012 would start in the next few months and we would see a measurable trend by December of this year.

Correct.
But the bet would be since it all ready is happening that by the end of this year the graph would show higher than 2010 in world wide disasters showing a new increase. I think it will beat 2010 for sure that's the bet.
I also believe it will be higher than any we have seen so far.

We could use this one.

From here:

I also said that it would continue this way into 2012 and onward.
These are natural so we aren't even counting technical.
If you want we can find one that also includes these?
I really hope I am wrong.
Moneys are out of the question so what could the prize be?
Who ever is right gets their ass kissed by the loser how's that?
But in what sense?![]()
No prediction then. I didn't expect one.
He did say that the number of natural disasters in 2011 will be higher that the number of natural disasters in 2010. I am not saying it is an impressive prediction, but I do think it counts as a prediction.

And that is recorded edge, that doesn't count all the powerful earthquakes throughout the Earth's 4.5 billion years.
