LuvGodzilla- I've heard all of that before. My take on it is that they might be referring to when the Neandertal were in the Levant and mixed with the influx of modern HS.
Of course Marduk never agreed with me on that, but there was some overlap in transition from one population inhabiting the area to the other. Seems like people have been fighting over that scruffy piece of soil for eons.
