impossible isn't required. it ISN'T impossible for Bigfoot to exist. (it's not like the description is 300 feet tall, 500 tons, made of cheese).

All that's required is that there is no verifiable evidence for the existence of bigfoot in the fossil record, nor at the present date, bringing the probability of it existing down to 0%.
 
I think considering the sources for most of the stories, at least those I have been told, it kind of does make it impossible. The deeper you get into it the more bizarre it becomes. If it was a real phenomena, I don't think the stories would be so strange, never mind all the more obvious reasons for why it isn't real.
 
that there were aliens in UFO's dropping off crates of Bigfoots, yeah THAT's impossible.

a big primate existing isn't "impossible" it's just very very very unlikely.

I would say there is a better chance that the 49er's win the World Series than bigfoot being real.

Impossible is a final kinda type word not everyone would be comfortable using it and I understand, I get to a point that I just give up on stuff sometimes, BF is one of those cause it has never really made a true appearance from the beginning, it's always just been controversy, I would have stuck with it if it had some scientific background at all, but at least in my case I don't see that.

Like most , I had a fasination with 'ol hairy butt. But after joining the BFF and really getting into how ill-logical this all is, just pushed me over to the skeptical side. Does BF exist? I don't know. If I knew everything, I'd be on some trypical beach, drink in one hand, blonde in the other, not givin' a hoot over BF anyhow.

Yea, that was one of my favorites. A member said it looked like it was menstrateing so I changed it. There was a time there when could pull those kind of pranks and not offend everyone, not now
 
The Fundies took over, can't show a cat's ass in public now although they show theirs on a right regular basis.....

Just curious, do you crack the door for alien abductions, Roswell, ESP, numerology, dowsing, or any other woo?

I am not up on alien abduction but does everyone consider the UFO phenomena "woo"? I don't, I think it is perfectly possible that other life forms might be passing through on there way somewhere else. Earth might be the universe's version of the BP station on the intergalatic highway.

I see that as more likely than a bigfoot staying hidden in North America. Bigfoot, or some analog like it, stands a higher chance of staying hidden and undiscovered in a place like the Amazon, it wouldn't necessarily be the same creature in the way the bigfoot myth is manufactured here in the U.S.
 
I do, the physics involved in interstellar travel preclude small vessels "passing through"

LuvGodzilla- I've heard all of that before. My take on it is that they might be referring to when the Neandertal were in the Levant and mixed with the influx of modern HS.

Of course Marduk never agreed with me on that, but there was some overlap in transition from one population inhabiting the area to the other. Seems like people have been fighting over that scruffy piece of soil for eons.
