The All Purpose Hillary Clinton Thread

There are plenty of rumors of secret bunkers for the super rich. We are likely to be one of the few inhabitable places on Earth after a nuclear war.

Canada is too cold. The life style here for the super rich is super because we already have a section of the super rich.

Could you folks find a way to sort of relate this to "The All Purpose Hillary Clinton Thread"?

I'm at a loss, frankly. Are you saying that some deranged columnist thinks that Trump will win and American billionaires will flee? To South Africa? That makes no sense. Trump winning would be a lovely development for billionaires. Are you saying that Hillary will win and whomever is going to flee to South Africa?

And in case you missed the news, the Cockwork Orange has imploded. The betting aggregators (who don't give a rat's ass for politics but just follow the betting money) now give Trump a 14% chance to win. That's roughly twenty-four per cent lower than the Springboks' odds against the Kiwis last week and we all know how that turned out.

Hillary starts WW3. The elite sense this just before it starts. Where to go?

Deranged? Wait till Trump is sworn in. That should turn your reality on its head.

I realize they probably aren't covering the elections in the Western Cape Provincial Shopper, but have you seen the polls? Trump's loss is no longer in question; the issue now is how high the rubble bounces after he crashes and burns.

Trump will lose by as much as 6/8% of the popular vote and more importantly will not even manage to take 200 (of 538) electoral college votes. And hopefully his brand of repulsive populism goes down with him. We've had his ilk in the past and we've managed to stop them. And sometimes a walk up to the precipice is what's needed to get America back on track. That we are this close to even a possibility that this turd could become president and bring his entire coterie of miscreants in with him should wake some people up.

With analysis like this, no wonder you are able to diagnose lesbianism just by whether a woman wears trousers.

Why, by all the gods and monsters, would we possibly want to go there? What on earth could possibly attract us? Canada and Mexico are close, and Mexico is cheap to live in compared to the US. And the food is awesome, and the people are nice. Okay, maybe not as nice as Canadians, but Canadians don't have much to offer in the way of good Mexican food.

Good grief, I'd rather migrate to anywhere in South America rather than South Africa.
The racists that support Trump are never up on world affairs, they probably think apartheid is still in force so going somewhere that has legal racism is appealing!

Some Kiwis - yes I have know quite a few. I have also seen how the elite control the country and the media. First hand experience - when I rocked the boat. And the slimy dark hidden under-belly - had the unfortunate luck to see quite a bit of that part also.

Otherwise, it is a nanny state bordering on a police-state. It seems like a well-run society. Just lift the carpet a little - but be careful, they don't like tall poppies and they cut them down to size. Conform or else.

Believe what you want to.

Enough of this. It is a bit off-thread.

The home of the All Blacks doesn't like tall poppies?:jaw-dropp

I think you'd probably be happier in Queensland

He spent some time here, but appears to have based his take on the country off one or two lunatic fringe websites.

The tall poppy syndrome is mythical in NZ. Lydia Ko, Val Adams - and her bro Steven - Bond & Murray... there is a huge list of people who are both worldbeaters and absolutely beloved by Kiwis.

Even our outrageously popular PM is a rich-lister. Kiwis adore success, despite what a few losers will cry about tall poppies. The ones doing the crying were never tall or poppies, but wished they were and are jealous of the admiration Kiwis hold towards our actual legends.

You have to have lived there a while to understand the phrase, and how it is used.

With the system - fine. Want to change the system to make it better, or play against the ruling elite? Officialdom sticks it to you with fastidious adherence to the "rules". And justice goes out the window - especially if you are not a born and bred Kiwi (sheeple) who knows not to buck the system.

Talking about Hillary. Second debate - Trump dominated the whole time, although one would not know it listening to CNN.

News Media Deeply In Bed with Clinton Campaign

The Clinton campaign lavishly wined and dined friendly journalists to plant pro-Clinton propaganda pieces

The Clinton campaign likes to use glitzy, intimate, completely off-the-record parties between top campaign aides and leading media personalities. One of the most elaborately planned get-togethers was described in an April, 2015, memo — produced, according to the document metadata, by deputy press secretary Jesse Ferguson — to take place shortly before Clinton’s official announcement of her candidacy. The event was an April 10 cocktail party for leading news figures and top-level Clinton staff at the Upper East Side home of Clinton strategist Joel Benenson, a fully off-the-record gathering designed to impart the campaign’s messaging:

Huh, I do not remember Clinton's pals in the press disclosing this cozy relationship, do you?

Must have been some of the public/private dichotomy huh?

Not a surprise, look at all the sell outs from CNN listed in the article linked in this post:

OK, carry on then. Investors are planning a Clinton presidency. Dump any coal stock. Insurance: take care of 2017, Hillary will fix it for 2018. She better, or there will be no second term. Baby boomers will rule. Forget all of the angry Trump folk in 2020.
