I'm mostly worried about new members asking for the picture. I don't want to be offensive, but what if one of those was actually a JDX sock? And sending it to a new member - allthough in good intention - could be how the picture might fall in JDX hands.

As a new member, I 100% agree. As much as my curiosity gets the better of me, I also understand that I am still an unknown. I am sure sooner of later I'll get to see D'oh, unfortunately by then I will probably be dissapointed

JDX stated as one of his reasons not signing up at JREF, is because he doesn't want JREF to have his IP. Why wouldn't he want that to happen? To protect a (future) sock?

I don't have a problem with those sentiments, as I would also be cautious in a similar situation.

And I don't have as much experience of this jdx character to be very interested in what it looks like.

Sorry to bring this up, but by sending the picture to so many members, I think the change of it leaking is getting pretty big. I think we should take some care here, in the interest of protecting the source.

Concur with Bell, which is why I have never asked to see the picture. I remember vividly saying something unkind about my hosts (when I was working overseas) in an e-mail that went to 3-4 sources and ended up as the tail end of a long message sent to--yep--the people I was talking about. Lost various and sundry chunks of my butt on that little whoops. So I'd hate to see this get out and hurt someone not via maliciousness but sheer "Oops".

I agree. Even if the picture is carefully cropped, JDX would easily be able to figure out who sent it to Obviousman.

I think you may be right. Even if you cut off all that stuff on the right-hand side, you can still probably figure out where it was taken.

btw, I'm not accusing you of being a JDX sock. I'm not accusing any new member of being a JDX sock (allthough weedwanker makes a good candidate), I only ask for caution. Please don't take it personal, neither you nor the rest of the new members.

The LC meltdown reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street", where the residents believe they are being invaded by aliens and just start accusing and attacking each other.

It really was inevitable though at LC. When the entire site is built upon people who are rather loose with the facts, it was only time before they turned on each other.

The saddest thing is that they think this may have been cause by outsiders, when it is their own that caused this.

The funniest thing is when Killtown kept trying to get a straight answer out of JDX. Killtown, how does it feel when the shoe is on the other foot and you can't get a straight answer to a simple question?

Previously I asked how long the 9/11 insanity would continue. I thought it would be years, but this could be the first sign that it's starting to implode and will die down. (Of course, they will say that the implosion was planted by the gub-mint.) It will never go away, but the "true believers" will become more and more marginalized as time goes on.

The "lies" are out and the general population is not well equiped to engage these factual errors and lies that are still around, and forever will be.
