My guess has nothing to do with telepathy, either way, at this point.

Michel H doesn't want a poll, as he evaluates the context of the answer and his interpretations of the personality of the answerer as much as the answer itself, making this "test" even less useful. He finds reasons to discard incorrect answers, and justifications to weight the correct answers heavily, dramatically skewing the results to show he is telepathic. Just read the last thread he created on this "test".

With all that said, I am distinctly receiving a 2.

Actually, it almost certainly does, as far as the sentence to be revealed goes. It would be pretty hard to create four sentences based around the idea "You have picked number (n)" and get an identical MD5 hash for each of them. If the OP has managed that, then they should be applauded and offered a high paying job in cryptography immediately.

As far as I can see, this is a poe. Either that or he/she/it should just keep taking the pills.

If it’s not a poe, do tell me why people keep inventing yet more idiotic “psi” “tests”.

I once got banned permanently from a psi website for asking awkward questions. I was told that I had been brainwashed by the Randi crowd.

Who was it who investigated the existence of dragons and discovered three kinds?
 
I am definitely feeling a number coming through. I sense that this number once meant something to you, even though you know that it can be taken as a fairly unremarkable number. I also get the sense that it is not a very large number, though in some cases it can seem like too much if you understand what I mean. I think that the number is likely to be a 3, but there is also an even chance that it is a 2 or a 4. It isn't extremely likely to be a 1, though I would find it very interesting if that were the case.

The first time we went through this, the numbers were from 1 - 5. Now it is 1 - 4. I suppose sometime in the future it will be 1 - 3.

Eventually it will just be a one, and prove conclusively that physic forces are among us.

Oh, come now. I should it it would be quite obvious that if someone asked JREF posters to pick an integer between zero and two (non-inclusive), the clear majority of respondents would not pick 1.

I don’t believe you. You didn’t pick a number at all. You’re going to wait until enough numbers are offered then you will say the most common number offered is the number you picked. As “proof” you will provide the correct “MD5 hash code” from the four codes you have created to suit each number. You will then claim you have a paranormal power.
